I am looking for a business with a very low start up cost. Also I need it to be interesting to me as well as practical for the average joe.
I am not looking into fancy businesses that potentially have so many things that one can get lost in just learning it.

Or, even though I didn't get a feel for what your "real-world" profession is, are you looking for something that might compliment that aspect of your life?

I have an idea or two about things that might be of value to you, but before recommending them, I'd like to know a little more about your area of interest.

I find people have a greater likelihood of success when they are involved with a program that matches their interests.
