It's hard to let go of things in which we have placed our hope--even when they lie broken in our hands. It's even harder to let go of our preconceived ideas of how God works when those lie shattered at our feet. Many of us carry around a heavy weight of discouragement. It seems as if nothing will even get any better, nothing will change. In the midst of that I offer these words of hope, of promise: God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10: 13) Perhaps it seems to you that you are at the breaking point. I urge you in the name of the Lord to throw yourself on him, to hide yourself under his wings. Don't give up. You have come too far. The road ahead may look bleak, but trust in God. It is the way home.
Be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded. 2 Chronicles 15: 7
Thanks for these words. Please remember In order for us to do the work that God has prepared for us to do. It requires us to walk away in order for us to grow. I know it hurts our hearts and our hearts are heavy burden but God wants it done this way. There is a season for everything. If not then we would not grow.
Thanks for these encouraging words, I needed to hear this today. I am still waiting on God to open the door to the house. As a matter of fact, while I am waiting for my package to get to the closing attorney, my lender advised me of a house that I had previously looked at back on the market, with more equity in it and more house and it has been discounted over $170,000, so sometimes God allows us to wait because he has something better in store, so I am just waiting on God, not being anxious for anything, just letting God be God. Bless you and thank you for caring.
I know without HIM I can do nothing! That is way it is important for me to continue to pray, and praise Him for what He has done, and what He has yet to do in my. I will alway put God first, my family, and my work. God is the captain of my ship because He guides and order my steps. Let all of us who have breath Praise the Lord! I will continue to Praise in the good times and the bad times.
