Here are my thoughts on this:

I take personal responsibility for the something or someone holding me back. I think in going for it anyway I qaulify as a dreamer.

I like the video but did not get the impression career, friends, family, ideas, or money were real obstacles to these guys. I think they must have built up a critical mass on each of these levels to the point the risk was worth it and doing anything else was a waste of their opportunity. Now I do agree these things can all be obstacles and overcoming them is easier said than done. Dreaming may not be everything in accomplishing some vision for yourself but it is certainly essential. This video is certainly a great success story to help inspire or reinspire those feeling weighed down by the obstacles.

Thanks,

Anthony

Thanks for your response. Your right the video wasn't giving the impression that career, friends, ect was holding them back. These are obstacles that people face when deciding to pursue or not pursue their dreams and passions. Those barriers that I listed are to provoke thought into realizing that although you may face challenges taking that leap of faith into your passions and/or dreams can be the best thing that ever happened to you. I am living proof.

Cool, I'd like to see the video expose on your success story then. For that matter, I hope my success is documented and used for the same purpose. I would glean anyone's success story will be at the expense of some of these obstacles.

I've been doing a (near) weekly interview on the group Modern Business Exploration. I wouldn't mind looking into you in greater detail if you were interested in participating. I know i can relate to facing many of the same challenges. I haven't reached a point of success yet where I can say doing my thing is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Quite realistically, the challenges could get the best of me. There's something to the risk of going for it I love though. So in that sense, I can say I am fulfilled much more on a daily basis by moving forward. I know maintaining patience and balance is tough on all these levels- especially when you are compelled to achieve success. However, I bet people who succeed on these alone are actually the exceptions. I expect most success will come through years of hard work and perseverance. On top of that, whatever fortitude you find to get you to that level just might be needed to continue it.
