If you had a million dollars what would you do with it?
If you had a million dollars free and clear could spend it any way you want what would you do with it? This is for fun Im curious what others dreams are. Lets have fun!!

First, I would buy property so that my money would work for me. Second, I would put much of it into CD's. Third, I would have to invest in the future by investing in children. Since, I live in an impoverished area, I know all too well how children fall by the wayside for one reason or another. There are little to no positive activities for children to involve themselves in and not enough individuals to admire and look up to. I would create a safe place for children to be able to spend time, play games, interact with others and stay out of the streets. The rest of the money would be used on some personal things, like much needed vacations. ((A million dollars doesnt go too far these days.))

Since I am a philantropist at heart. As long as my family is taken care of with all that I need and want. I would find ways to give it back.
Which is what I am currently doing right now. I have been blessed this year to be really successful. God put the right people in my life at the right time.
So I am speaking about real issues like leaving a legacy for your family and setting up wealth to pass from generation to generation.
So the money millions in my possession would be strategically given away to help others around the world find and live their dreams too. It is not all about money. It is the quality of life you want to lead. GIVE GIVE GIVE. YOU ARE BOUND TO RECEIVE. I DID! I am thankful to GOD for such an Amazing life.

Well I will also answer my own question as well. I would of course invest. Set my family up. And help others to be wealthy i want to end poverty. I desire to build a place where familys not just the mothers but the entire family can go.They all run the place share in the up keep.And in the mean time i will help get them a online biz going and running making profit so they may live.Yes give back. I believe in sharing and helping others. thank you so far in the responces to my discussion.Its great! lets keep going. Lets help each other become wealthy so we may help others do the same.No more hungry kids or familys!!!!!

Give some to charities, take a road trip with friends, invest in my retirement, pay some bills including my siblings...and put the rest in a savings account!

That's a question which not easy to answer. I would make a school for kids which not enough money to go at the college. But not only that, we have to going out from ...the no future generation... and give that kids a viewpoint. The world is open and there are thousends of possibility. The key is since ever the money.

I would open up a Soul food restaurant in Harlem. I know I would make a great deal of money within 1 year after opening the restaurant.
I know me, and I do have the Mida's touch. I would grow an empire like Ms. Sylvi'a Restaurnt, Only better.
One millon Dollars, I keep thinking about our Government giving Wall street trillions of dollars, to bail their sorry azzes out, Something just is not right about any of this. I sure hope that we have not been dupped by allowing our government to bail out these sorry bazstards.
Where is all that money going. Who is the accountant responsible to make sure that these horrible young and old wall street baztards, are not getting huge bonuses. Who is really monitoring this mess.
Was it Wall Street that voted Mr. Obama in or was it the people. ??? I am starting to wonder..

I had a neighbor when I was living in New Hampshire who owned the condo a few doors down from me and she was worth over 4 million. She said to me one day, you know money means nothing unless you put it to work.
So if I had 1 million I would put it to work for me to make more so that I could do the things I wanted to do to help the people I am trying so hard to help. I guess you could just give it away and in some ways that would be making it work for something but I would rather take the time to understand who to make the best use of it.

I would use a significant portion to help my family, my church, my church family. I would also use it to helps others as God directs me.
I of course will help myself! I would also invest my money, as God directs me, so my money can work for me. I'd definitely invest a significant amount in my business. A million dollars doesn't last very long these days!

Pay off my mortgage and quit my job.
Visit family in Australia for at least a month.
Invest some of the money for a rainy day.
Invest some money in my business.
Work my business part-time and enjoy the extra time with my children and husband.
Give my mum some money to start her own business and help her be successful.
Help my brothers start businesses that would allow them to be self-sufficient.
Buy property for MIL to live in rent free. She won't need to worry about money and it would add to our investment portfolio.
