You can also achieve extended success by posting comments utilizing a really good blog that you created. Try and creating a blog around social networking topics or marketing a website. These will get the most traffic. Use a similiar comment style of template with a link to your blog. If it is a featured blog, then be sure to mention that.
Groups Tip
This is another great way to market through comments. The key here is to create a group that is somehow related to your industry that will appeal to others. Then you can create a comment that asks other members to join your group.

I have yet to come across a pushy or spammy comment post whose final destination could not be mined for some good information that, in turn, could be tranformed into a blog or forum discussion that would benefit the community.
It is all about delivery and packaging your product. It only takes an hour at most to come up with a really good blog post related to some aspect of small business success that is tied into your website or product/service.
The correct delivery in social networking and networking in general is the key factor in getting someone to open up to the possibility of looking at your product and/or establishing a relationship with you.
This one extra step can make the difference between you having a thriving business that has residual income with unlimited opportunity, or living month to month from one check to another.

As long as you have something intelligent to add to a discussion and don't plaster the place with pushy sales pitches you should be fine. Business is about knowledge and value. Share ideas not punchlines or slogans. Great business is done when solid relationships have been forged and that can only be achieved by being real, rather than slimy sales guy. An insightful line of reasoning which has inspired me to make the adjustments that are required. After all, we would be poor examples of business minded people if at some point the ultimate goal was not to lead new imaginations to our product or service. We should all be committed wholeheartedly to our respective products should we not? But to "spam" others in the group is not unlike trolling for the weak ones in their respective lines of edeavor and aren't we here to, as a communiy, bolster those that need our experience and strengths. If we don't have a lot of experience then we absorb like a sponge. A good sponge.

Thanks for showing such a great example with Matt's expertise here. I will go to the areas he recommended, print them and do them. I am sure it will be very helpful. I have all ready printed the info he has about press releases. And yes, I can tell the info is genuine and sincerely given! I believe this is the most important. Believe and have passion for what you do, help as many as you can.:)
