I am looking for businesses that can help me bring my conference to their cities. By doing this it will also create advertisement for those businesses.
Great question, Dawn. I've only been a member here for a little while, but it seems like everyone is friendly and willing to help.
As far as truly wanting to help vs just saying we want to help to meet new people, I think it's all relative.
There are, literally, thousands of people on this network. And it is growing by leaps and bounds everyday. There is no way to help EVERYBODY!
We invite fellow networkers as friends for numerous reasons--to network, become friends, to promote our businesses, to learn and grow from others experiences, etc. It's a wonderful thing!
In these networks, as in real life, there is a tendency to help those that we have developed a relationship with. Or have something in common with. For instance, you are an Image Consultant. I am a Makeup Artist. I see a connection, there. :~) I think that is as it should be.
With that being said, I would never turn anyone away that asked for my help! It's what we were created to do!
Thank You Ginger for responding. I really wanted everyone to start looking for the business partnerships through this discussion. Yes, I believe we all need to develope both personal and professional relationships, however, let's start by doing what we are here to do, Partner up and all can grow. I am looking for other Businesses to help me bring the Diva Conference to their cities. When I say help I'm not necessarily talking financial, it can be sending information about locations etc.. When this conference arrives it will open up revenues for all parties involved. This vision was given to me by GOD and I believe it's my ministry to get out and share this experience with others.
Again Thank you for responding and hopefully we can create a peronal and professional business relationship.
Actually Dawn, we are right in the middle of the development stages of offering a Caregiver Conference--to help caregivers deal with the stressors of caring for the disabled/chronically ill.
It may or may not be a match for your company. We should talk sometime.
Let me know when you are available.
Ginger, I have more in common than you think. I had to take care of my mother from the age 16 until I was 35 when she passed away. My mother was misdiagnosed for 20 years and the medicine they gave her eventually took her life. I would love to talk with you, you may be exactly what GOD has had me wait for. Please call or i can call you. #937-837-3555 anytime, if your still up tonight so am I.
