You surround yourself with other entrepreneurs, (either real or virtual) rather than the dreamless employee/wage slaves who are quick to tell you why/how/when you are gonna fail.

You celebrate your triumphs, no matter how small. Your first smile. . . you are living your dream! You have the ovaries to step up and and believe in yourself.

Become my friend, and befriend yourself with folks that you can turn to when you are feeling low, or like you have made a mistake. . .

. . . know that you are going to make mistakes!

Mistakes are how we become more powerful, and as long as your triumphs are greater than your mistakes. . . your dreams are coming true.

One may get discouraged only when one stops believing in his/her IDEAS. In case you have a strong belief in your Business Idea, and you have done all the hard work needed to launch your business, chances of getting discouraged becomes remote, even if you don't get expected response in the start.

Initial failures are key to success, since at that moment it is easy for you to correct your startegy and implement required changes.; ▶ Reply to This

Jump up and plant my big fat feet on the floor and at the top of my voice say "I FEEL GREAT". You need to have a vision of were you want to go and an attitude that NOTHING is going to STOP ME, it will only be a red light in course of your life. Green will come if your
willing to wait just a few more minutes LoL.

Your biggest challenge will be finding friends and family members who will support you through your challenges. Remember--you can pick your friends but you can't pick your family.

Positive thinking goes a long way, but stay focused on your revenue model.

Reading inspirational books is a great way to stay motivated. Why not find a book of short stories from entrepreneurs who have weathered the storm and made it big!; ▶ Reply to This

Remember that it truly takes times to build a business and you must have a positive attitude each day. Work hard and keep your eyes focused on the prize!

But the fact is if your building a lucrative business why should you expect to not have to put some sweat into it and stick to it. First off, know that what you are experiencing has been felt/experienced by other successful small business owners before, and will continue to happen. This is a common experience many people starting a business go through - call it a trial by fire.

During the tipping point for my business, I was at the precipice of almost shutting it down until I heard a story. It was about how the owner of Whole Foods started his store over 30 years ago and all the trials he had to survive (losing friends, borrowing money from family who no longer wanted to see him, having the store flood and emptying out water for days). Whatever happened that would not help the business did. Nevertheless, he persisted and now look what it is today.

I cannot say the elements on the story are true as I heard them second hand. However, it worked to re-inspire me and I took a new look at my business, re-configured my products, got new channels of marketing, and eventually quadrupled my business inside 6 mos. I cannot imagine the me who would have quit and what I would be today. I simply would not accept failure and I think that directed my energy into the right places.

Thus, find an inspirational story to motivate you and put your energy into problem solving instead of frustration.
