Forced Green is a fairly new site (March, 2008) and has a healthy traffic load but could go bigger.

My problem is getting my visitors to hit on the ads . Does anyone have any
suggestions?

I am also in a ground movement called "buy from bloggers!"

An advertising navigation bar works best.

If you are using adsense, then choose the links across the top and blend it into your site using the same background color.

If no adsense, then use the same concept with affiliate links.

I have made adsense the same color as my blog.... I do not have an area for a bar.
When you have time, could you take a peek at my blog and let me know if I am missing your point?

thanking you in advance,

Linda

Yes you are missing my point.

Here is an example of a adsense nav:

It is the yellow line on the top.

Here's another article showing the key spots for adsense:

Hopefully, this will help out.

I looked at the blog, and personally I think it has too many advertisements in relation to total content. Cut back on the image and banner ads and focus more on adsense. This will give your blog a cleaner look and will increase your CTR.

I didn't see any ads on your site.

SUp.biz.coo made a good point. I'm also a user of adsense.
