One of the best books for me is written by Martin Yate - Knock'em Dead. Since I've been in recruiting for 11 + years, I purchased the new editions over the years. This book is something that I share with candidates because it covers over 100 tough interviewing questions. If you are looking to improve your interviewing skills for the next job...then check it out!
Awesome book, it not only changed my outlook towards marketing, it opned my eyes to all that abounded me, yet at the time I did not know I had the power within to manifest and make a reality.
This is a book I feel EVERYONE should read. If you’ve ever battled self-doubt and hopelessness, this book will help you understand those thoughts and provide help in on overcoming them. It truly is not only an eye opener, but a Spirit Enlightner.
2)Manifest Your Destiny: The Nine Spiritual Principles for Getting Everything You Want by Wayne W. Dyer.
This book is invaluable it will help you achieve your goals and desires and in doing so it will take you to a level higher than you've ever dreamed.
3)The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
What can I say ? This book, the movie, the audio tape is a MUST read, watch and listen to. It teaches you the ancient secret that all brilliant minds knew, the high achievers, the ones that always seemed to prosper not only in a monetary way but in Mind, Body, Soul & Spirit. The Secret opens up a whole new World for those who need it, whom have never understood that they CAN manifest all they wish for and desire simply by harnessing the Universal Power and Energy that surrounds us all. Believe it, see it within your mind, but more importantly your Heart & Soul, and in doing that the Universe will draw exactly what you desire & need to you. The Secret was and is inspiring. I urge anyone who has not read it, seen the movie or listened to the audio book to do so, it will change your life !
In reply to Angel Nahid, these are all great books I would put near the top of my list. There are other books in this area that in my opinion are even more powerful and important and should be read after these books:
1) Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting by Lynn Grabhorn
2) All books by Abraham-Hicks
The Grabhorn book brought unbelievable change to my life quickly. I had read many of the Abraham-Hicks books and benefited much from them, but Lynn Grabhorn just brings it all together and makes it make sense in a practical, every day way that is easy to grasp. She credits Abraham-Hicks for providing the "secret ingredient" that allowed her to really break through to massive success after many years as a self-help expert and author. Great book!
T. Harv Eker's "The Millionaire Mindset" an incredible insight into the roadblocks we have embedded in ourselves and ways to unlock, dissolve and re-create a complete balance and very successful business and lifestyle. This book allowed me to move from a $50K income in my business to $100K in 3 months! Brilliantly written!
I'm recently unemployed due to a hernia disc so reading has been my outlet to relax.I was shopping at big lots and pick up a three dollar book named Make it Happen by Kevin Liles w/ Samantha Marshall and it has sent me down a positive road.Kevin Liles also recommended that I pick up a copy of RichdadPoordad,my eyes haven't been this open in thirty-four years.
Greetings,
The book that has made the biggest impact on me is "The Personal Touch" How to Succeed in Today's Fast-Paced Business World by Terrie Williams, an author and highly admired publicist. Her methods for creating and sustaining business relationships haven proven effective and profitable.
I recommend it at every opportunity.

I did economy and so the first books were over persons who have success ...from zero to top. Than persons as Carnegie, Siemens, Gates and a few unknown in Germany are my interests, till today. I studied Marx and see what came, I worked independent and see the firms in Frankfurt gone, for this I never again wouldn't be employee. That I remained independent was a book over the system of taxe in Germany, it was of my professor Schaumburg/Tipke, Köln.
My personal choice of the most inspirational book on my bookshelf is "Not for Bread Alone", by Konosuke Matsushita who founded Matsushita Electric ( National Panasonic) in 1922 and led it to be one of the most admired international companies. He describes a business philosophy that has truly stood the test of time, and is full of great wisdom.
It is hard to get (last time I checked there were only 15 copies available worldwide) so if you cannot find it you will find my brief references to his vision and business principles in my whitepaper available at www.bizlearn.biz/18.html.
I hope you get as much from it as I did.
