One Final Note:
Networking on Sta.rtUp.biz is no different from any other business networking event that you attend in person. The rules of success are the same.
1) You need to be well dressed - A nice profile and profile picture
2) You have to work the room - 100 comments a day
3) You engage before selling - Thoughtful comments
4) You ask for a business card - Make a friend request

You would never show up to an event in a tank top and start shouting out loud, "I sell insurance!" over and over again. It is rude, people will ignore you, and you will probably be escorted outside by security and told never to come back.

The same is true here.

If you they are welcome comments to new members using the same message then it takes about 90 minutes.

20 targeted unique comments takes about 30-45 minutes.

I agree, networking to build credibility and business relationships online through social networks is no different from doing so at face-to-face offline business networking events. I've heard testimonials from those who have used online social networking effectively to build their businesses and think you’ve created a great guide for those who want to do it well.

Wow. I haven't been actively participating for a little while. I think there were less than 100 members when I joined. I'm glad to see this site growing so well. I was genuinely impressed by it when I found it and apparently others are too!

Thanks for the tips on "the how to". I'm enjoying looking around here and seeing loads of different folk from many countries. My first impression is that there are a lot of leaders and winners who will do very well in each of their business's and I hope to be amongst them.
Kind Regards
John Hannah.

I just joined a few minutes ago and have you have already given me an outline to follow. Great post. Hope to hear more from you in the future. I better start working on my profile.
Thanks---Allen

P.S.: to anyone following on to my URL it is also a new website and a work in progress. I'll let you know when it's worth looking at. If I do it right I think you will find that it's a very different real estate site.
