17 year old girl Makes $70,000 a month w/ Myspace Site

This girl, 17-year old Ashley Qualls, runs a MySpace layout and graphics site called Whateverlife. The three-year old site receives 7 million unique visitors and 60 million page views a month. It earns her up to $70,000 a month. Most of this revenue seems to come through Google AdSense.

This does not work. It is better to focus on one segment because it enables you to design your communications specific to that segment - increasing your chances of success. Having a clear vision of your target audience and your vision for positioning yourself in that niche is very important.

While cases like these can be an inspiration to take the plunge into online business, it is important to weigh things further before you dive. It is important to know that for every 5 figure adsense earner there are at least 500 others who have yet to come out of their single digit earnings!!! Don't let the hype get the better of you because there is a lot of 'behind the scenes' that is not visible to you.
