Just posting a quick response in regards to all the copycat sites I see springing up here. You know the ones I bet. They have a name similar to sup.biz and even have similar layouts. But that's where the similarities end.

As you know from my previous posts I owe a large part of my current success to this network because of all the really cool people that belong here. Getting the chance to meet so many cool and amazing people has been a blast. The money I earn along the way has been great too! But I am dead set against joining any network that is a dead copy of another one.

Why so?

Mostly because anyone who creates a copy cat network is straight up cheating and cheaters attract other cheaters. Remember that like always attracts like. Quite frankly I have no desire to join a network consisting of such people.

That's why I contribute so much time to building this network. I suggest anyone wanting to build a successful business do the same.

That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it!

Regards.

Boycott Copycats!!!
I think that the internet in general has opened up many opportunities for copycats!

It sucks when you spend time coming up with something you feel is fresh and new, only to have it copied... our website for CreativeHQ (my corporate design co) was recently copied :(

I also have to spend time online searching and checking that none of the GritFX designs have been copied so closely that copyright is breached! I found one person who went as far as lifting our design and using the elements in their own "lame" layout! It only took an email to the host of the online store, and it was removed... but geeeezzzz... it's just another thing to do on top of everything else!

Having said all of that, I do believe that there are alot of smart people online and that they can see the differences... one has to stay positive :)

Great post Matt.

hi Matt,

I have to agree also. I spent a lot of time trying to find just the right MLM that fits me. On my journey I did notice exactly what you are talking about. There were so so many copy cat networks. Being new to network marketing, but a quick learner I figured this out. It was actually very hard to decide which network to join. Sure you can join any of them, because all of them will take you.

I have thoroughly enjoyed belonging to this network even though it has been a very short time.

My opinion too, and sticking to it!

I fully understand your concern. I have created the first writing site specifically for people over 50. Hopefully, no one else will come along and steal my thunder. With the Internet, the risk is always there.

Hi Matt,

I tend to agree. I'm gonna stick to this one for sure.

Hi Matt,
I am honoured to have joined this site. I haven't been aware of any others. I wouldn't give them any attention. Remember what you put you attention on becomes real. My focus is primarily on getting Body Talk recognised in the medical scene, particularly in NZ. Check out www.bodytalksystems.com

Dunno,

What you say sounds logical, although there is certainly a market for copycats as well, I imagine. And they always say that the sincerest form of flattery is copycatting. I have no problem if others can make a buck from an honest attempt at duplicating the success I see here. I certainly would hold it in higher esteem than, say, bank robbery.

I'm entirely new to this entire process, so I have a lot to learn. I know I have marketable skills, I just don't have the marketing expertise to market those marketable skills. And I've waited until the entire economy of planet Earth is in the cesspool before venturing forth. I guess I enjoy a challenge.

If you have suggestions to help my idea grow, I'll definitely be interested. In fact, I've devoted half, that's 50%, of my allotted expenditures on learning what I need to know in order to profit from my skills. Currently my entire budget, with all arterial and tangential avenues, increased overhead expanding conical lighting from strictly green, renewable sources lying between the tropic of cancer and the tropic of capricorn, as well as all production, packaging and promoting costs, has risen to $0.00. Now I plan on devoting a full 50% of that on the learning bell curve which, in my case, probably more resembles the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, crack and all with the appropriate amount of dust on top.

But I'm not daunted, just, uh, dented, I guess. And I checked and to daunt means, "to abate the courage." So I have unabated courage. How many others can say that??? How many would ever want to (a subset)? How many are still reading (an even smaller subset)??

So, thanks for the link, I guess.
