Leaving MDAnderson to go home

---------------------------------------------------------------

July 9th

After getting diagnosed yesterday at MDAnderson, I decided I was not going to hide the fact. I am really scared for my life and for the life of my baby. At the same time, I can not help but to worry how people will look at me with only one breast. They are also going to have to remove a large portion of my back. The back skin and the back muscle will be used to cover the hole where my left breast and chest muscle will have used to have been.

The good news for everyone reading this is that I should be back from the hospital by Monday and able to work from my computer out of my bed. I am a strong willed woman and I plan to heal quickly. The other partners of the company met last night and decided to donate a portion of all the profits to breast cancer research. I cried when I saw that they had placed the pink ribbon on the logo today.

My twitter account, that was initially used for updating on Sta.rtUp.biz, is also going to be used for updates on my battle, which I will win. Please take a moment to sign up to follow me on Twitter and tell your friends about it. I would like to share my story every step of the way.

MDAdnerson has informed me that I will be the 6th pregnant woman in medical history to have a mastectomy. They also told me that there has been less than 100 documented cases of pregnant women with cancer since they started tracking in 1991. I hope that by getting my story out, that I will be able to connect with some of the other 98 or so women that have gone through what I am going through now. This is the only way that I will find answers because the doctors say they can give no answers with so few statistics.

So please share this post with everyone you know. Hopefully, the power of business networking can lead to me finding answers and spreading awareness at the same time. Little did I know that a few weeks ago while watching how Twitter was changing the way we see Iran, that I would be using it to find answers and support in the fight of my life.

My surgery is at 6am Friday morning. I should be able to give a twitter update in the evening or dictate it to a family member to tweet it for me. I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read this and for forwarding this message on to all of your contacts.

I wish you the very best of luck. May God be with you all the time & take care of you from a distance... AÇAI berries are already considered one of the richest fruit sources of antioxidants. The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry published a study showing that extracts from AÇAI berries triggered a self-destruct response in more than 86% of leukemia cells tested.

So, far it has shown proven benefits to cancer patient as well... but since you are pregnant, Im not sure...

Anyway dear... Really I wish you can make it through... God Blees you...

Hello, Natalie,
I am sadden to hear that you will have go this ordeal. I am breast cancer survivor of 3yrs no. My tumor was diagnosed at a very beginning stage. I had to have 6 kemo treatments once a month. I was able to keep doing whatever I was into at the time. I had recently moved away from my family to Atlanta along with my mow 33 yr old daughter. I had never left my family before and now this. A lot went throught my mind, my mother is long time survivor and I had my diagnoisis at the same age as she. I was never concerned with dying, because I knew of some other women who had gone through at a very age and are find. My mother is fine after 16 years. She nor I got the reconstruction surgery. My mother was concerned about missing on breast. I know that no one would know by looking at me. I never felt uncomfortable with missing a breast, this is a procedure that is done all day every day sad to say. The first thing is to accept the facts and find what you need to do keep you body strong to the necessary treatment and to ensure the health of the baby. Be sure and eat the right foods that keep your blood cells health and replenished. Keep me posted as I hope that I can offer some comfort and information from my experience that will help you throught this. Blessing Jacqueline

My Dear Natalie,

I sit here with tears in my eyes for two reasons. 1) the anguish you must be feeling and 2) the VICTORY you will have very soon!

I have no magical words of comfort to give you - but to offer you support, prayers and know I am here for you.

We look forward to your Tweets and updates.

BE Strong,

A blessing from God in the utherus and a bad happening in the breast. Indeed a question yet to be answered, but for sure God knows His doings and if I were in her position, I surelly would question a lot my own life, but at the end, Charlene, I am sure I would come to the conclusion that He is right and I acted wrong. Blessed feeling, pregnancy no doubt is a trust from God on His daughter, I would be strong enough to heal myself, if not in the body itself, on my soul.
Everybody has the merith to receive their charges and the beauty of that rudity is that everybody, at the end, do win over the battles.

Sending most healing and soothing vibes in your direction... throw yourself in the arms of your own SELF and the connection will show you how to deal more smoothly with this lesson. A bit of relaxation (meditation, yoga, mantras) is also very helpful to reduce stress and calm yourself down at the end of each day --- this media may be handy and easily accessible for you: http://lubashivaya.wordpress.com/media

Most Soothing Vibes,
