Guys,

I have concerns and need help/advices. I have people calling to business to sign up for my SEO site and we are having a hard time to convince people to sign up. What should be the best strategy for this?

As long as your price point isnt too high you should be closing 20% of the calls at least. Is your sales staff asking for the sale during the calls?

John,
Sign them up for "free".

Seriously................Here is the deal though. Find out how they are doing for now. Once you have done your analysis, tell them how much you can help them. If you hit your mark ask them to make a donation (or agree to a fixed payment when job is delivered) and 5 recommendations.

If all 5 recommendations lead to paying business, do their SEO for 6months for free and ask them to recommend some more people. If your stuff really! really!! works, you should have no problems.

You want to take me up on this offer, let me know!

John Gison,

I am a little confused with your problem.

Let me know if this interpretation is correct:
You have potential clients calling in but you have a problem converting them into customers.

Here are some suggestions:

1) Offer a free test drive. Show them what you can do with one search term string for their site.
2) After they say no for your normal price, come back with a discounted price. 75% off the first two months. This will allow them to feel comfortable that they will see results before having to lay down a large amount of cash.

SEO services are tough to sell without an upfront discount because there is no real guarantee that you are going to get your money's worth, and it takes awhile to see the results.
