After surfing this site for so many times, I find India, as a country has been completely ignored. Reasons are best known to you. In today`s world financial and banking mess, India is the only country [except China, ofcourse], which can save the situation. Even today GDP of India is about 7-8% per annum, while USA, UK, Europe, or Japan are no where near to it. The more you include India in your framework, the more eyeball you will get. India is a blessing in disguise for the World Economic order or survival.
Your views, suggestions, or comment are most welcome.

I am a part of a lot of groups and I think StartUp Biz a real working group. It is growing daily, and there are people that do network. I think everyone is here to share their ideas and their business, so it is not a big deal to me that people put their ads out there. I have been able to increase traffic to my site by sharing my ideas and listening to what works for others. I like the site the way it is. If I come up with anything I will definately mention it!

Those are some very great points. We have a staff that is dedicated to banning and freezing any member that is pushing a product or outside link through comment spam. We also have a education director that guides active members to contribute their knowledge to other members as opposed to pushing their products or services.

We have experts that answer any business, legal, and financial questions within the forums.

Do you have any suggestions of what we can do from our end to encourage the type of activity you see as vital to a social network?

What do you think of the featured blogs? Is that information too common? What topics should we focus on?

The business information through members and videos are great. I'd like to see less spam in my inbox. The page template could use a make over to make the site look more appealing.

I'm just getting started and incorporating all the many excellent ideas I've learned thus far. There is MUCH to learn and benefit from. Right now my mind is spinning. I can't wait to try them all out.

Thus far, there is only one suggestion that I have. I would like to see Secretarial Services or a category that embodies the many services offered by a secretarial service i.e. typing, transcription, data entry etc. added to Business Categories.

Due to the fact that my business services don't fit in any of the Business Categories listed, I had to choose Other.

This site is NOT the only site that does not have a category that a secretarial services business falls into. This is a drawback for me when I list on the internet. To offset this, I try to list as many tags as possible so I can be found by search engines. If you choose to list Secretarial Services in your Business Categories section, you will be the first to do so.

Once again, I am looking forward to trying all the suggestions and making new friends.

I agree with those who commented about SPAM. I'm glad that I read this too because I'll be sure I'm not one to violate that myself since I am a "newbie" to this type of network.

I also agree with someone who wrote about sending a sort of email packet to new members with specific intructions about the various features, how to use them, how they benefit and rules.

I found the email you send today with the five pages MOST useful and will be sure to save it and refer to it.

I think this is a great site and am happy to have found you and am looking forward to learning and using more features every day.

I would like to see 'Pets' added as an option in the "What Industry is Your Business In" drop down on the profile page.

Thanks.

Greetings,
I hope all is well and your neighborhood. I joined to find other businesses that would fulfill my needs, but all I see in this venue is how others use this platform to plague on other members. I have not participated for this reason. It is amazing how so many people think others are in the dark with respect to business. If this is assumed on the surface level, no telling what remains at their core!
Services offered should be stated and let individuals gravitate as a natural course of action versus the angle of a telemarketer. I have been looking for someone that makes clothes and have not found such a venue, but plenty of Bull@!#%$% floating around, and those of us that are serious about business are truly looking and can sniff the bad stuff from the gate.

Many thanks,

Jaye

Hello StartupBiz,
It has come to my attention that you have started banning members
who are Social Networking on your site. I know, it sounds daft!
The whole point of Networking is to communicate with our fellow peers
and to introduce them to our offers and promotions etc
So i would like to know why you are banning members who are Networking
with their own friends on your Network.
i.e. If i invite one of my friends here to join me on my Network
'Promotion And Advertising Club' you get your arse in your hand and
throw all your toys out of the pram!.....lol
Wake up guy's you don't own the monopoly on Social Networking and
you never will!
Hundreds of people are currently moaning about your pathetic attitude
to Networking and word is travelling fast around the net,
infact people are now leaving you in their droves
and joining my Network, so keep it up please...lol
Should't be too long now before i quit here as i don't really want to be associated with
yourselves in the current climate!
Why have you started a Network if you don't like your members Networking? - Nonsense!

Kind regards
