What are some things that you believe that we can do to make this a better venue like you are drawing reference to?

Hello StartupBiz,
It has come to my attention that you have started banning members
who are Social Networking on your site. I know, it sounds daft!
The whole point of Networking is to communicate with our fellow peers
and to introduce them to our offers and promotions etc
So i would like to know why you are banning members who are Networking
with their own friends on your Network.
i.e. If i invite one of my friends here to join me on my Network
'Promotion And Advertising Club' you get your arse in your hand and
throw all your toys out of the pram!.....lol
Wake up guy's you don't own the monopoly on Social Networking and
you never will!
Hundreds of people are currently moaning about your pathetic attitude
to Networking and word is travelling fast around the net,
infact people are now leaving you in their droves
and joining my Network, so keep it up please...lol
Should't be too long now before i quit here as i don't really want to be associated with
yourselves in the current climate!
Why have you started a Network if you don't like your members Networking? - Nonsense!

Kind regards
Richard Donlevy

The picture in your post is MOST unprofessional. I totally agree with STRAIGHTALK. If I were Sta.rtup.biz, I'd ban you too.

I'm new here but was under the impression this was to be a site for socially networking with "professionals". You have a right to your opinion as we all do but comon' now. An opinion is one thing and "bashing" this network to all in the network is another.

I would NEVER join YOUR networking club.

The only people that we ban without a warning are those that send out invitations to our members to copycat sta.rtup.biz websites. Your ning network is not a copycat site.

When we receive spam complaints from members we review the activity and educate on the rules and offer assistance in marketing their products and services through the network. If they still do not follow the rules, then the account is frozen and again we offer our assistance. Then if they do it again, they are banned.

So how come a while back (about 3 weeks) I was brought to my attention that I was spamming!!
This is the ONLY THING MISSING
When I have never invited anyone to any other site other than this one... I have always used my Add this buttons in all my writings.. which by the way I WAS THE ONE WHO HAD TO ASK YOU GUYS TO INSTALL ONE.. So about this comment, You might not but sure others are using what they know or who they know from back in your area..
Now I'm kinda getting what Mr.Richard Donlevy was getting at!

<--- This is the ONLY THING MISSING

Oh and a featured area is not a place to put PAID ADVERTISING !! Featured areas of A website should be used to Feature those Who do exceptional work, or someone who sits on your web page inviting all those members you have hear now.. that area should not be for sale. Now You making Me think that the whole Website can be BOUGHT OUT!!

Sorry but when you confuse Adverts for Featured then I know something is wrong here!!!!

I do have an idea...Networking is great. ..but how is it really working. I have said this before but I am good at repeating myself...With over 14,000 people...we all know at least 250 people...THink how we can put people together...and also if we need help. I would love everyone to call their public library and ask for my book For Kids 59.99&Over. It would cost them nothing...and catapult my book to be a huge library purchase by the requests...I would be happy to do likewise for any business I could. What are we really doing actively that is increasing views to websites, more biz associates, more dollars in the pocket. Lets do some exciting things for each other...Sign me up!

My business is secretarial and dictation transcription services mostly for small business owners. The nature of my business does not usually lend itself to attracting business from any business that is not local here in the Tampa Bay area. I would like to have the ability to locate only those businesses that are in the Tampa Bay Florida area.

Could you incorporate a zip code or city search? This would be most helpful when trying to find local businesses to network with.

There is a member map, where about 1000 members have listed their location here:

Here are all of the members that live in florida:

1. My website; and getting visitors there.
2. Capturing visitors to my website and turning them into buyers.
3. A capture page.
5. I have seen other sites that I like that work. I just don't have them handy right now.
