Back from my fabulous trip through the Canadian Rockies, it was fantastic, stopped to take a photo of a ram, and spent time at Lake Louise, the weather was great and being a photographer and more, took photos of couples and families with their cameras,
drove up with a Toyota Hybrid, the quiet electric engine made the drive quite enjoyable. see slide show: Lake Louise in August: http://yurl.in/r0
My books "Accelerated Success" & Refined by Fire, the latter consists of 57 chapters, I have always been a good record keeper with thousands of photos and video.
I am writing the last chapter now and will share some of it with you in a day or two, then I will go back and continue from the 10th, you will find it quite interesting how someone can go from that to this.
I am combining the both books but with photos to tell a more interesting discussions, I am not one to hide my true feelings, and have accumulated quite a bit of wisdom from the world by business experience and from Christianity. I know, some tell me, "my believes are personal" or " thank you for trying to engage me, but I am not interested. I am not easily discouraged however, the first time I went to speak to the prisoners I stood back a bit, but I soon discovered that if you spoke with conviction, without fear, pronounced my words the best I could, never use a swear word and with authority you will have them eating out of the palm of my hand, soon I was walking up and down the aisles, I had their full attention.
This world is a stage and I am just passing through, a life dog is better than a dead lion,
I have to give some of the credit to Ron Jones, or singing Ron as we called him, a speaker, we went into a restaurant once and he begun to sing at the top of his voice I just about headed for the washroom, but to my surprise he was applauded and they asked for more.
Recently in a good mood having learnt from the prison and Ron, an urge came over me in the cinema, we were in a Que waiting to see the movie, I stepped back about 12 feet and using the skills that I had accumulated said, "Ladies and Gentlemen we are waiting to see this wonderful movie Wall-E and we have some time on our hands! the question is how could we utilize this time effectively, I want to ask you a question, how many of you like to travel, please put your hand up" to my surprise some 60 percent did and I gave out my business cards. I don't think I would have tried that if the movie was "The killer" Think of it the people who are remembered are those that step out of the box, life is to short to be shy.
