Here's the easy way to send out your message and avoid the 100 limit.
1) Write a blog or forum post with your message and information. Your title will be the subject line of the email so make sure it does not include any words that will get picked up by filters at yahoo, hotmail, and google. (The top filter words are listed at the bottom in the tips section.)
2) Click "share" at the bottom of the post
3) A box will pop up, and click "more options" at the bottom
4) If you have 100-499 friends then click "share with friends" and select "all." Then write your email message and click "send messsage."
5) If you have more than 500 friends than you will need to select groups of 500 at a time. If you share with more than 500 friends, then the email will be blocked. You will not receive a message saying this, but the system will automatically block any group of more than 500.
I personally have a list of 2500+ friends, and I use this process about once a week. It only takes about 5-10 minutes to break it up into groups of 500, and it guarantees that the email is sent to everyone.
At the end of the day this is better than sending a friendwide message because...
1) It has a better open rate and click rate because you are promoting a sta.rtup.biz url to its members.
2) It has a better response rate because members are more likely to respond by leaving a comment as opposed to sending an email back to you.
3) It is easier to respond with all of the responses at one web page as opposed to 20-40 emails.
4) If it is a forum post, then everytime you or one of your friends makes a reply it will be promoting on the home page of sta.rtup.biz.
Few tips on having a shared forum have great success...
1) Make the title a question that will appeal to people on this site.
2) Answer the queston yourself in 5-15 sentences and strategically place your link to your site or profile.
3) Do not use any of these words that will get your email send to the junk mail box in your title or post. Here is a list and what to avoid:
