Rev. Tina Redden
Contralto Lead, made her singing debut at age 10, ordained a Reverend at 15 years old, her voice has been continuously compared to outstanding performers such as Mahalia Jackson and Mavis Staple. Redden who plays a number of instruments (14 at last count) plays all instrumentals heard on all of her 11 solo albums; has been deemed a prodigy in the music world. Raised in a strict Pentecostal family, the youngest child of nine, born to a Minister father and a Missionary mother. She learned from an early childhood, the importance of singing to the Lord. Redden was ordained a Rev at age 15, worked as a missionary from age 10 and served as Pastor of Three Churches. Recently Ordained an Elder, Rev has been a Chaplin for 5 years often working with prisons, hospitals, Military, and with all denominations.
Rev Tina's Television Show "The Gospel Showcase" aires in 5 states across the US, to over 120,000 homes twice weekly and 8 times weekly in California. Her CDs sell in over 2400 stores in the US [dept chain stores counted as 1 store] and in 90 Countries. Rev Redden host an international web based radio show "Emmanuels Temple Gospel Hour" Station 11680 UBroadcast radio. And is now in process of syndicating the radio show in Rochester NY and Stokes on Trent Great Britian as well as in Kenya Africa.
Rev is CEO of Phenix Records & Recordings Ltd. a small but blessed recording company located in Michigan City In. known as "City By The Lake" [on Lake Michigan]. The company prides itself on promoting new untapped talents in the gospel field.
Pastor Redden's music was reviewed in the UK as "The Best Gospel Soul Ever" and "Best Gospel Vocalist" 2006. She is known in the UK as a "swoop hollar and testify singer" due to her powerful vocal ability.
Elder Redden served as a Spiritual Service Provider to the US troops via Government Contractor in 2005-2006 [non-USO], and often does charity concerts in various citys world wide.
