New(Returning) Member, rebuilding business, etc...

I am a returning member (new to some) and decided after doing taking a break to rethink some issues and gather my thoughts it was time to start digging my heels again just do it at a slower speed. What got me to the breaking point was quite an amazing chain of events.

In early February, I made the decision to enroll in college for my Doctorate of Business. I just finished a revamp to my business design so I can start moving in a direction other than where it is now. What I did not realize at the time was the involvement of class study. Looking back, I feel it was the new phase of my career and beginning of a Doctorate degree which I was a bit intimidated by.

After I was able to get back into the swing of college and time management I can now start to focus issues where they need to be. I'm still a little off in some areas but it's getting better. One thing is certain, the building of this matter will move at my pace and the person working with (as my part time administrative assistant) respects my decision. That in itself means a lot knowing I can count on her when I need her help.

I would like to determine a few things from this point on and I realize it is not going to be easy. This is where I am now with my needs:
1) increase marketing and advertising
2) locating sponsors to build business
3) locate clients

It is easier to reach me through the web site or via email than on the phone at this time because of my college schedule (end of term) However something which I am offering to those who are willing to help me is 15 minutes free. Meaning, if you are willing to help me I will do the same. As Benjamin Franklin once said, "time is money".

As a final note, please do not solicit or spam with business deals in my private email box. I did not rejoin to be spammed or solicited with business deals. Anyone that sends their advertisements will be deleted, period. I do not spam my friends with business advertisements and think it is quite rude to have others do it to me. I accept persons into my friend area as I would like to get to know you, not to permit your soliciting. Should you solicit me, you will be deleted, banned, and reported to the group administrator. No one should be solicited who does not want it.

For what it's worth, I was a UNIX programmer for a telemarketing agency which had the utmost respect for businesses and consumers who requested not to have their name on the do not call and do not mail list. I am only a small business however I follow that same protocol as it is only common courtesy.
