If you have business cards, then you have to take a look at this very cool and cheap device. It is called the "Card Caddie," and it allows you to distribute your business cards right off of your car or the door to your business.

Here's a few pics of this little marketing wonder in action:

At just under fifteen dollars, this is a no brainer.

3 Ways to use CardCaddie to get almost 100 extra sales a year

1) Place it on your car. This could easily add 12 sales a year just from your car sitting in a parking lot.

2) Place it on your office door. This makes it real easy for anyone who stops by after hours to grab a card with your information on it. Easily 24 sales a year.

3) Place them in the break rooms of executive suites. There are about 100+ executive suite centers in most major cities. All of these offices share one single breakroom with a big refrigerator where you can place a CardCaddie. Easily 50 sales a year.

Please take a look at their webpage and post your comments on what you think of it, and also post any other ways you think it can be used to distribute or market business cards.

Here's their official site: http://cardcaddie.com/

Here's a video of it in action in a Wal-Mart parking lot:

I had a pet sitting service through the 90's. I had magnetic business cards made and stuck them all over my car. It worked great, so I'm sure a caddy on your car would too.

That is another great simple marketing idea. I remember how my dad would always have his door size magnets on his cars promoting his business in the 80s. Having a bunch of small ones to take away definitely would have added some more business.

This is one of those ingenious ideas - so simple that it is easily overlooked! Realistically - very down to earth and practical. No special skill set here:) Anyone can do this - that's for sure.

So let's work with the little ideas that bring some clients/ traffic our way. Instead of going against the tide trying to bring in 100 leads from one or two sources, why not have 30 or 35 streams which bring in 3 leads each = 90 to 105 leads

Over time this strategy really gains momentum and the savvy marketer wins the game!

Does this mean I'd have to wash my car more often??? just kidding. I think its a great idea and agree with Nadira; I think utilizing multiple streams of marketing and income is going to be important in future years.

Hi this may sound like a crazy idea for this product, but how about a way to attach it to your dog as you are walking, him or her, You can put a type of harness on the pet and they could carry the card caddie and everyone that stops to pet your dog. You can offer them an opportunity to do business with you. Or just as you are walking the dog down the street you tend to meet more people out walking the dog. People love people with pets.Of course your dog would have to be people friendly.

Well here is a thought, when I placed it on my car and went to Walmart and came out all the business cards were gone ;-) oh and so was the cardcaddie !!!!!!!!!! Doh !

Hey just joking but maybe you should tell your buyers to super glue it on there car/tuck window so that won't happen ;-)
Good luck hope you sell millions.

It may help some to know that homebizbuzz has been offering a similar product to this in NZ for a couple of years. It works.

CardCaddie is another tool as part of an overall, comprehensive marketing plan. Once someone calls you because they got your card out of the CardCaddy, you still need to be able to offer them something your competitors can't or won't or in a way or manner they can't or won't.

To that end, you need to make sure your card itself delivers a message that denotes a meaningful, marketable difference.

The cardcaddie is held on with VHB (very high bond) tape from 3m used for vehicles. It cannot be easily taken. If you wanted to post that. Also it only holds 35 cards.

I personally asked the inventor for the details...
