You weren't asking to be rated but your photo is great! Very nicely balanced and a very and satisfied looking smile. Very genuine and not posed. Winner!
I rate you 20 Diana, (a) because you look great; (b) because I wasn't surprised by your music, after looking at your profile pic and then checking your profile; and last but not least (c) your smile jumps of the page, which is what it's all about.
Interesting topic! I agree with the others that your head should be fully in the photo. You look cute but professional. I must say I always wonder about women who wear suits and have long straight hair. It leaves me with this burning curiosity: What does she wear in her spare time? Is she a hippie at heart? It really leaves me wondering. A tidy ponytail or updo would kill this curiosity and would match the suit more. The hair makes you look very young. Not sure if that's good or bad or even matters since I probably think about things like this way more than the average person!
Sorry, but I went to college for design and they ruined my life by making me look at things in a very critical way! Design has so many elements and since I learned to look at things like that I immediately see everything that's even a tad "off". Sometimes it's a real curse.
Go ahead and get even with me now, LOL! My photo is also not cropped properly. I should have cut out the stick in the background since it's quite distracting. It's just a shot of me sitting on a log but I liked the background and it was a beautiful sunny day. My hair is not even, etc. I don't photograph well, EVER, so this is what I consider to be a "good" photo. My professional photo is here: http://www.roaringwomen.com/profile_428
Tell me what you think. Should I use the studio shot or the casual shot or get a whole new one? I like people that call me to see me in my environment rather than just in a studio. I feel it creates a more "real" person in their mind and occasionally I've gotten some compliments on it. Can hardly wait to see what everyone else thinks!
I agree with the stick in the water being a distraction but it's a great background. If you're wanting to keep it in line with your wellness business I think you could retake it but maybe in a different spot along the bank. Your professional photo looks very nice but not as personal as this one. I'd give this one an 8 and with a little work it could be a 10.
You have no idea how right You are Dear! The best thing for a person is to do and wear that, what makes hem or her feel happy! The rest is B.S.... I can take any image and look Great! I even don't know how or way but, it's truth! Take a look!
I bet your eyes are green too, Sharon? Having checked your profile page I suggest you have a close-up shot done, with a big smile... show your wellness? You've certainly got a great face for the business you're in but I think you're missing marketing trick with your walk in the park shot.
I rate you 7 though, but easily a ten in the making.
I'd say a 9.5. Professional, warm, inviting. I would have given you a 10 but as the others have stated, your head is chopped off. Very nice pic overall.
I would give it an 8, only because of the top being cut off. That's not your fault, mine was cut off as well. In fact, I would give my own picture a 7!
