Hi Julio,
Thanks for adding to the discussion. You are right on about Jimmy Stewart. He definitely had the flare for the camera, he could put any facial emotion in front of it and make it real.. Glad to hear your family is enjoying the movies and quality time this season. Happy Holiday, Hunter
Mine is "Its a Wonderful Life". I can watch that over and over and since I've seen it so often, I can start watching it in the middle and know what I missed.
I think, It is a Wonderful Life is winning. That's my Jimmy.
God that man remind me of my Dear Father who has passed on.
I am sure he is hanging out with Jimmy.
Hi Jackie,
Thanks for sharing that. My condolences about your father and I am sure he and Jimmy are having a great time hanging out.. Wishing you a very Happy Holiday Season, Hunter
No contest here. "It's a Wonderful Life" tops my list. Like Diane said, I can start watching it any any point and know what I've missed...and still get teary at the end. But the message of the movie, I think, is what makes it timeless. Who among us doesn't wonder from time to time if we've made a real difference? And who among us wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of the outpouring of love George received? Yup...it's cause it speaks to something in all of us that we love it as much as we do. Just MHO.
Hi Cathie,
Thank you for sharing! Yes, you are right that making a difference in someones life is so important to us all and what a great feeling of accomplishment that brings all around. Happy Holidays, Hunter
Hey Hunter,
Great topic. I have several! Every year my family watches these movies and has become a tradition:
* The classic - CHristmas Story with Alistair Sims (spelling)
* Bill Murray's Christmas Story - Hilarious!
*Of course - It's a Wonderful life
* Santa I, II, and III with Tim Allen
* Jack Frost
My absolute favorite is the classic Christmas Story!
Happy holidays everyone! I posted some old Christmas time classics on my page. Drop by and have a listen!
My best,
Lesly
