Social Media Training Wheels
Hello Everyone,
I dont know if you've run into this, but there seems to be a huge knowledge gap between people that have an good or even basic understanding of online social media networking and those that do not.
I find myself encouraging offline networkers to check it out and get involved. But...
Although they admit that they NEED to start using social networks, they never take the first step in starting.
I've come to the conclusion that its fear, lack of knowledge and understanding. Its a big world out there and perhaps its just uncomfortable for them.
After all, they would need to admit that they do not understand it. For some people, admitting they lack understanding or knowledge in some are is just uncomfortable.
A friend of mine sent me a link to her profile at a new site that I think is just brilliant.
