I loved the Etch-a-Sketch and actually still have the one I originally got as a gift. I can't remember how long I've had it, but it was a Christmas gift from my parents.

I remember getting my etch a sketch back in 1978 when I was 5. I used it for at least 4 years until it started to have issues with erasing the previous sketches.

I think it should be covered by warranty!

Yes that toy I remember spending all kinds of time on. I Could not draw that much on it, but it was a lot of fun. It sat around our house for years.

I think the original lego sets were early inspiration for all budding entrepreneurs. We start with an idea and a bunch of blocks, then we piece them together until it looks like something.

I aggree with both of you. (I studied architecture)
But also Lego changed. Try to find today SIMPLE lego - horrible.
You can get one Ferrari, a monster, also SpongeBob etc in small boxes - but for simple sets or windows etc you have to buy single pieces or in Ebay
But: I like the new colours - like light blue and orange
