Blog Tip

You can also achieve extended success by posting comments utilizing a really good blog that you created. Try and creating a blog around social networking topics or marketing a website. These will get the most traffic. Use a similiar comment style of template with a link to your blog. If it is a featured blog, then be sure to mention that.

Groups Tip

This is another great way to market through comments. The key here is to create a group that is somehow related to your industry that will appeal to others. Then you can create a comment that asks other members to join your group.

Feel free to ask any questions here on how to tailor your comments. We want you to succeed.

Thank you for the great article. As we add valuable information that can be applied in our respective businesses in our blogs and articles, we naturally promote our products and services. Education, branding and quality service (value added) have been instrument to the growth of my business and brings traffic.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it! I really don't want to be critical but the link I put im my comments on other peoples site is simply a link to my blog...which sells nothing nor even trys to sell anything. I can understand this if it directs someone to a sales page or a pitch.

I only offer information and some advice on my blog which anyone can use in any business they may be involved in. Please give me your thoughts as to why this is wrong.

Thanks. I did not realize that I was violating any rules. I will refrain from adding links with the exception of my signature, until I become a Diamond member.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was just doing what I saw others do when I first joined. It's very overwhelming and you don't find these forum messages till sometime later. Perhaps some kind of welcome message needs to be sent to all new members - not a long one, but sufficient to give some ground rules at the start.

This is helpful to me. This network here has so many experienced people, sometimes I feel like a fish out of water. Can anyone give their opinion on this? http://www.mymacronet.com/50/cgi/main.cgi?ghettopriest

I did not know about the rule of not placing up photographs of what you do unless you pay the 50 dollars US a month, I had no idea...because I did do that a few times in the email question, and the web designer group, because I was trying to explain what it is I do...

I did not know about the 50 dollar rule...ah

I have one other question about your sample, and I am not trying to pick on Matt, but it looks so generic? Like the guest book postings? I dont even think he realized it was on my page? Maybe our views our different on marketing, I have a family friendly attitude, where I dont want to appear like a computer speaking?

You know like those ma and pa shops people keep coming back too?

I would be more bound to read bloggings of someone being honest in their business pitch, like they had a rough day, and running around with their children, but was able to sit down for ten minutes for a quick post of some advice?

I look for humanity in business links I suppose, I find the ones who focus on merely succeeding with money in their blogs, I loose interest half way reading them? I am not being rude, I am only giving you some feedback,

I was very drawn to a lady in the moms business group, her honesty on her credit rating to get money, instead of bloggings where they seem so perfect? Like everything is perfect in their lives, and their business never has any flaws, I mean it is not realistic?

I find the bloggings of merely succeeding financially without any personality to the blog, is all over the internet, and being honest once again, I read about half way through, and move on.

I receive many emails and see many pitches, and if I see no heart or soul, I am like NEXT.

You have to give them something to remember you by, something different and juicy and life like.

Blogging to me is like a diary, people want to see what is behind running a business, they want the truth, not only the good juicy stuff, the bad days too when you have not made any money, or the month was tough.

I love ma and pa postings..

i full agree with this

This is helpful, but why not just make it code impossible for non diamonds to post outside links, instead of micromanaging member activities, and then sending moderator thugs to their profile when some crybaby pinko complains about branding? Why front about it? Profile and Group owners and their moderators (I almost hate you hall monitor wannabes) all have the power too delete and edit any posts, let them do their jobs and maybe not encourage the fascist activity of ratting out neighbors. The honor system is lame when its combined with stringent policies.
