Blog Tip

You can also achieve extended success by posting comments utilizing a really good blog that you created. Try and creating a blog around social networking topics or marketing a website. These will get the most traffic. Use a similiar comment style of template with a link to your blog. If it is a featured blog, then be sure to mention that.

Groups Tip

This is another great way to market through comments. The key here is to create a group that is somehow related to your industry that will appeal to others. Then you can create a comment that asks other members to join your group.

Feel free to ask any questions here on how to tailor your comments. We want you to succeed.

ood day folks, and to you Mrs. Becky

Well, let me say if you are interested in creating a Blog first you should create a habit of not commenting generic stuff and that will increase viewers to your website..

And about a NICHE site, well anyone can build a website about anything and be great at it!! I truly believe that the internet is for all Humanity.. But most folks think this is a place to get rich fast.. and that is not so ! We as a provider have to answer lots of e-mails, make tons of comments, and write articles that are appealing to Our viewers.. this alone is a task for it's own. Much to have to learn how to get viewers to read your content and provide a feed back..

I learned that this starts in the way We ourselves use other websites.. If you build a habit of surfing well your website viewers will feel this and also they will surf your website.. But if you build a habit of stopping by every now and then writing a comment on some one's Blog or comment on an Article, You'll see that folks will also do this when they visit your website..

Key feature is to be:

Truthful, but polite - say what meeds to be said

Honest without tricks - don't mislead viewers to referral links!!

Most post everyday - Use your members article, give credit back.

It's just like a song if you don't play the tune correctly the station will be changed!!

Thank you for this valuable information. I am getting so much information it is hard to choose and pick the right ones. I have been told over and over again to sell myself not products. When people get used to you and trust you, then they will start buying from you. I see the point in that. But when I have bought information on line I did not know the person. I wanted to find out more about how to get my blog seen.
I will give some of these suggestions a try.

When all things are equal people will always do business with someone they know over a stranger.

And even when all things are not equal they will do business with the person they like.

Brilliant advice for all here. No one wants to feel pushed into viewing anothers site. We are all busy people & our time is too precious to look @ sites we don't feel could be of mutual benefit. I for one could certainly use more traffic to my site, but I know there are ways and means of going about achieving such goals. Force is not one of them. Empathy is!

"4 Creative Ways to Cut Business Travel Costs," would be a great blog topic that pretty much anyone would find interesting in today's economy. Very clickable.

You could also start a forum discussion, "What is your secret to saving money when travelling?" Those two paired together in a hello or welcome comment would definitely get the buzz going around you and your profile. As people respond to your forum discussion, be sure to comment on their post.

Your 5 Creative Ways to Cut Business Costs is good. I would suggest to go through it again to make it even better. This is going to be the marketing medium that will get your name out their. You want people to not only read it, but to submit it to Digg and other social news media because it is that good.

Call them tips instead of steps. Underline the tips. Use bold or italics on 3-4 of the key phrases that will jump out and make them read the entire article.

On the what is your secret to saving money when travelling... That one should be a forum discussion. That will allow people to interact with eachother and push your forum post to the front page of sta.rtup.biz everytime someone shares a secret. Just list the same question as the forum discussion title in the General Business section, and then give your 2 personal secrets.

Thank you very much for this wonderful information.I'll do my best to use It.I've noticed that some people dont like It when you refer to your business when you comment on their page.I've really read some people complained about that. This is the reason I've choosen for very regular and simple comments, without my info.I always check on people's business and their blogs when I go to their page to leave or return a comment, so I assume they do the same.Do you think thats wrong?

I have no idea whether most other people here do what you do, Denise, but I assure you that you are not alone because I do the same thing.

If someone leaves a comment on my profile page without using my name or in any way gives me a signal they have actually read my profile or looked at what I do, I do NOT return the visit. If the message is nothing but pure pitch for their product/service, I delete it. I've deleted more comments off my Comment Wall on this particular Ning network than any of the others to which I belong.

In non-virtual networking one does not succeed if all they talk about is themselves and their business. This is especially true in the one-one-one venue. The same applies for social networking on the internet. If one can't spare a moment to take a personal interest in the person they're typing at, don't expect a connection, a sale, a referral.

Now I'm off to check out your profile!

Thanks Hilary.

It's not that I disagree with this discussion, It's that most people dont like It to feel pushed to look at other peoples business as Ben Wood stated.
I dont have a problem people doing It to me,I'm always willing to check on every one and try to support them, because thats also one of the reasons we are here.I most focused on people who are in the same business as I am, but I am interested In what others do, to learn and get inspired.
Most of all I am interested in the people here as networking friends, you never know when you may need each other.

I wish everyone here a wonderful networking time.

Love, Peace and a lot of succes to all.

Regards,
Denise
