What am I doing wrong? 4,000+ hits 0 sales

I'm sure success isn't very far off... 8-)

Now I only have software, but at least there are several different kind of software. Some for developers, others for websites, one for gamers (table top games), so I think I have some diversity.

I guess what I may be missing is more consumer products. What I have the most are business to business, back-end stuff... and maybe that the large number of hits does not compensate with the type of people coming by.

To answer your question, I have a document about Flash. It is very technical and the only one nearly complete document outside of the one provided by Adobe. This is a single page at this time and it generates about 1/3rd of my traffic.

Outside of that document, there are many other pages about different type of software. Last time I checked I had about 889 pages on my website, mostly in English, some in French and some in Spanish.

Alvin, it can greatly. Usually 8 to 12 I'd say. I read some, I make things work for my customers, my own websites, and network some. Also my CMS is working on the computer 8-). So even when I search for customers I spend time on the computer. I have a hard time without a computer... 9-)

What do you have in mind?

Yes, I agree with Alvin. Why would "I" want to buy a software from you when I can find it locally at a retail outlet? You have to have something different for people to order online.

When I search online for a product - I check online for information and then I seek out prices for comparison. If I find the price comparable at a storefront, I will buy it there.

Set yourself apart with "something" that only you can give to your clients.

Alexis, do not fret my friend i have a few tools that might give you
more AMMO to monetize your traffic!
You have great products and most of them are specially targeted to a certain demografic
what you can do is create squeeze pages for each product with it's own opt-in box using your Autoresponder and start marketing to
a targeted demographic according to the niche of every product instead of marketing the whole site at once!
But don't take my word for it i'm not an expert just stating my opinion!

Fabio,

Do you have strong examples of companies making money with affiliate programs for products that cost less than $100? Some of my products are like $15 to $20... How do you handle that with an affiliate program? (You know, I mean that I'm not Amazon or CafePress... Actually, I got one single sale at my CafePress store. But I'm not pushing it anyway.)

Note that one of my website is an E-mails eater system already, I'm working on two other ones to convert them to the same thing.

Funny so... "half" => "fully automated" 8-)

My goal is indeed to have 99% automated. I have many ideas just no time to execute them all.

Also since I cannot (yet) live of my websites, I have to do other works and for most there isn't a good way to automated them. My Cold Calling cannot be automated. I need to talk to real people (which is why getting voice mail so much can be bothering!)

Do you have your own site? Do you monetize it?
