I launched the site in April 2008 because I have three kids myself, and I realized there was no website currently like this in our area. TRACKS is an acronym for Tools, Resources and Activities and for Carolina Kids, and the site consists of well over 1,780 links to local resources for kids covering 22 categories. Triangle TRACKS uses the same web platform as this network, so members are able to communicate with other parents about all of the children's resources in the area via blog posts and forum discussions. The website also features subscriptions to a free, monthly newsletter, and a calendar of events that is updated daily and also includes member-posted events. Our membership is growing.
