Woe is me! I clicked the "Upgrade" in the WordPress administrative area without backing up the blog! Don't ever do that! Thus, I am rebuilding the blog; it's a mess, and hasn't had a new post in quite a while. Initial set-up and customization is sufficiently time consuming without having to repeat it!
Here's why you should visit My Shopping Genie:
My Shopping Genie 2.01 is state-of-the-art FREE software that will save you lots of time and money shopping for goods and services. The Genie sits quietly in your system tray until you need him. When you visit a search engine, such as Google, MSN, or Yahoo! the Genie pops into action. Enter your search terms, tick the sites you want to search, and the Genie magically finds all the listings matching your terms and loads them into browser windows. Tab through the windows to find the very lowest prices on the very best products.
Use the Genie independently by hitting Crtl+G on your keyboard. Enter your search terms, select from many choices (Wal-Mart, Target, Shopping.com, Overstock.com, Google's Compare, Amazon, eBay and others) and click the go button. The Genie displays the results of your search in your browser.
Looking for the lowest prices locally? Enter your location when you set up the Genie and you can do local searches as well. The Genie will produce a Google map showing you the locations of the stores from the results page. Search for services, such as "nail salon", "divorce attorney", "no-kill animal shelter", or whatever it is you're looking for. The Genie will pull up a list of those near you and show you a map!
The Genie is great for getting lower prices through the "price-matching" policies of many stores. Find the lowest publicly advertised price online, print out that page and take it with you when you shop locally. (Be sure to check out the fine print of each store's price matching policy before you go.) My Shopping Genie members have saved hundreds of dollars on big-ticket items like washers and dryers and electronic equipment! You can too!
The My Shopping Genie software is free. No opt-in is required. You won't be bombarded with follow-up marketing emails. The IP address is recorded, so that you can receive free upgrades for life any time a new version with more and better features is released, but there is no record of your name or address, and your phone number is NOT solicited!
My Shopping Genie is PC-only right now. It works with Windows, and works with IE7, IE8, Google Chrome, and Firefox. Set-up is easy; just follow the directions. Be sure and do some searches with the Genie after installation just to make sure everything's okay. Bookmark the page you downloaded from so that you can return. My website is unlimitedhits2u. I have put together a portal for business owners with how to tips and advertising resources. There are places to advertise including videos, link exchanges, classifieds, and forums for free. I am working on adding new features to the community. I think that you can never get enough free advertising resources so you should come check it out here. I think that it would fall under the marketing category. I am constantly looking for new ways to improve my website.
