Will An MLM Survive on Facebook?

Facebook is launching an application on Friday called, "Chat to Text"
The application allows users to "chat" live with others regardless of whether they are on the computer or not. How?
By converting the live "Chat" to a "Text" message, hence the name, "Chat to Text"
But that's just the beginning.
The application is also an MLM allowing users to typical MLM residuals on everyone they get to sign up down to 9 levels.
It has sparked some controversy on Facebook - but there are a lot of happy facebook clients already making a killing and it hasn't even launched yet!
How will this application survive? Will it survive?
