This is our answer to prayer, Buddy.

We had been without a dog for 4 years and wanted one desperately.
God answered my specific prayer with a YES.
I told God that He could have a dog show up at the door if He wanted to and that is exactly what happened.

My husband went outside at a time of day that wasn't even normal for us.
Buddy was wandering the streets near our house, very afraid.
We coaxed him in with a piece of chicken and generically called him "Buddy" in case we were able to locate his family.
My first words were "Oh honey, he's beautiful!"
We received many calls, yet there was not one report, posting or phone call for this boy so we adopted him into our family.
We attempted to change it multiple times, yet he only responded to the name Buddy so it stuck.

We adopted our other two boys in one way or another and are friends with their former families.
It’s awesome how that worked out.
We will post their stories one day soon.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share about our boy.

Have a wonderful weekend and a Merry Christmas week.

I grew up with a sweet Dachshund. Gretchen was a Christmas present given to me when I was 7 years old. I had her until I was 22. She was loyal, sweet and wouldn't hurt anyone or anything... on purpose.

She was playing with a mouse one day and well, ya know.
Before we could stop it, the inevitable happened.
She couldn't figure out why her new friend was just laying there.

We were playing together one day and she bit me. I thought she would kiss me to death; it was as if she was saying, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I wouldn't hurt you for anything!"

Stay tuned, there is so much more about this sweet girl and others who have loved me through the years.

I have happy to be apart of your group. I love animals. My website is named after my dog. www.LayZDaisy.com She has been one of the most wonderful dogs I have had. I have taken her to a nursing home and the patients just love her. She is also very patient and well loved by Children.
