This is a 6-week online program and your weekly commitment is key to learning very important facts about proper nutrition, weight loss and exercise. As part of our commitment to help you lose those unwanted pounds and inches you have been assigned a PERSONAL weight loss coach that will monitor and guide you towards your goal. Your coach will be in touch with you prior to the next meeting to get acquainted with you and to answer any questions you may have. At that time, they will conduct a short Wellness Evaluation to further assist you with your weight loss needs.

With the busy schedules we live with, it is easy to develop bad eating habits. Millions of people nationwide are
overweight. Eating low-nutrient dense foods, such as soft drinks, candy, salty snacks and discretionary fats accounts
for more than 30% of daily calories among many children and adults. An obese body cannot work properly
because of the clogged cells and lack of good nutrition. Obesity has been linked to 53 in both adults and children.
Most of these problems can be solved by good nutrition. A healthy breakfast and protein rich snacks like soy protein
between meals helps to build and maintain lean muscle mass and is great for hunger control. Fiber rich foods
help your body stay trim and are wonderful snacks, appetizers or side dishes. Fiber acts as a broom, sweeping out
the waste left over from digestible foods. Don't overlook the importance of water! Water suppresses the appetite
naturally and believe it or not, drinking enough water is actually the best treatment for water retention! We often
misinterpret thirst as hunger and by the time you actually feel thirsty, your body may already be dehydrated.
Physical exercise provides great health benefits. Choose all kinds of activities! Exercise increases muscular strength
and overall stamina, improves the body's ability to use oxygen and improves the function of the immune system.
Regular physical exercise reduces anxiety levels and helps manage stress. It improves self-esteem and feelings of
confidence which may lessen irritability and moodiness. This boosts energy and improves concentration but at the
same time, helps us fall asleep more quickly and enjoy more restful sleep.
