Hello to all our new members. For those in the U.S. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving, and for all our friends around the world, please take a special moment on Thursday to thank our creator for all our blessings, and ask for freedom and peace in the world. Paris

I thank God for life, and I thank all of you for joining me. You have humbled me with your words of truth and wisdom. I hope that we can make a change in the world. I, too, am tired of seeing pictures of children starving and ill from disease and dirty water, Denise. And I am grateful, Jen, that your parents had their eyes and hearts open. My father, also, although I was born in the south, he never blamed our condition on any race which has kept me free of prejudice. Your light-heartedness, Angie, is a blessing. We need someone to keep us from becoming moress and cynical. Wendy and Tony, you have been my friends for awhile, and I am glad to see you have joined us. You are always welcome, Pete, to come where I am. Your professionalism will help tremendously in the days ahead. Last but not least...Jeffrey, never deny what others see in you. Some of us are witnesses, and some are doers. You are a doer, so hold on to the gift which has been given. We are told to "go forth and multiply." That is not only a call to procreate, but to produce in all ways. To those who have joined, but not chosen to comment, that's fine also. I appreciate your being with us and look forward to your quiet participation. But don't let me stop you, please comment when the spirit moves you to do so. Regardless of anyone's participation, I am so grateful to all of you for picking up the hammers needed to break down the wall of seperation. Paris

Hi Paris,

My parents were light years ahead of their peers, teaching us
to be colour blind and focus on the personality rather than
colour. Halleluija and amen! This has stood me in good stead
all my life.

Great group, Paris.
God bless you, me and everyone.
Jen

Hey dear Paris,

Thanks so much for inviting me to this group.

I pray that one day there will be no more racism and discrimination regardless color, religion or disposition, that people will accept or tolerate each other and make this world a much better place. No more wars and that we will get rid of those terrible scenes of the poor and sick people in Africa and other third world countries for ever.It needs to come to a end.

For some reason I have this feeling that the time has come for new beginnings, It might be a long away, but the world will change for the best.
Maybe another 40 years??
