I've been a committed believer in the Law of Attraction for many years. I know it works in my own life and my own e-learning business at www.managetrainlearn.com. I understand how our vibrations are the key to attracting something similar through "like attracts like". After all, that's quantum physics. But what I don't understand, and would love someone to explain to me, is how people who go on an airplane that crashes and kills them all can all attract that same event, even though they may be coming at the event from so many different angles, different feelings, and different vibrations. Surely, airplane disasters don't just happen to a planeload of people (including people of all ages, nationalities, beliefs, religions, life experiences) who attract such a thing through their beliefs and vibrations. Explanations would really help me put this final piece of the jigsaw puzzle in place and I would be so grateful. I know for certain I'll have an explanation from you great folks out there. So enlighten me on this one, please!

Why do the people that are affected by an attraction event have to be the ones in charge of it?

If everyone is not thinking, if everyone is simply going about their normal days under their own 'clouds', and not attracting, what is to stop someone else firing a negative thought at the aircraft, or the mechanic that should have done something, didn't. HIS negative thought, if it is the only one out there, wil lrule the day.

You are asking, why a planeload of people smuggled a bomb on the plane. They didn't. One person did, and it is his attraction that is the strongest, not the innocent bystanders that suffer from the consequences.

Which is why a month's positive energy from one other person, a few eeeks before the flight ensures a safe one. When people fly, it is to an exotic place for vacation, or an exciting busienss deal, or to see family. Their positive, attractive thoughts keep it in the air, unless they are simply coasting through life like 90% of the population does.

Eric - Hi. This is just a little piece of the puzzle. Take LOST. ahem. I am an avid fan of LOST because of the metaphysical probabilities alone. As the story progresses, we realize all the people who are on the plane are somehow interconnected in their lives. A tapestry of souls come together under the vibration of a number (Hurley's unlucky number which the writer's have yet to explain-away, thank goodness) and end up on a magnetic field that explodes them into a life where they are able to reinvent themselves and explore what life and courage really meant to them.

Now consider the answer posted from Steve James - and we have the Hurley's unlucky number explanation. Hurley believed that number was deadly and he was the most poison soul in the world, that everyone around him was a target. Not to mention Kate did not want that plane to land, ever. Locke wanted the walkabout miracle no matter what it meant to attain. Sun wanted a place where there was no strife. Rose wanted a place to heal and the island was her spot, her special vortex. Sawyer had nothing to live for. Dr. Shepherd just wanted out.... a lot of them just wanted out of life. They had good reasons for being tired of life, done done done.

If people don't know what I am talking about !!! you have to watch the season DVDs. Lovely program. Famous!

Seriously, I do believe there is a connection, but there may be more than one soul group on any plane. I also believe there is 'destiny' to a degree, but like S. Browne outlines in her books, we have a choice to not take that way out on that particular day.. up to a point, I think she says we get to decide not to go four out of five exit points / moments.

I also believe there are many reasons why several soul groups would be on the same plane. Some to act out a drama that calls them to be courageous and watch out for one another. Some to be able to leave together.

More than anything, I believe that if one is driving off the cliff - back it on up as if in a dream and re-do your own scenario to a positive outcome. But more important, don't project the negative. See the positive. Solve problems before they arise for a peaceful life.

Essa, that's a wonderful explanation for my query, thanks so much. I don't know LOST. I think it was on TV here in the UK but I missed it. Anyhow, I'll have to look out for it now you've whetted my appetite. Thanks again, Eric

Hi Eric,

Let me try and break down your post bit by bit and answer your question as best as I can.

YOU: "what I don't understand, and would love someone to explain to me, is how people who go on an airplane that crashes and kills them all can all attract that same event, even though they may be coming at the event from so many different angles, different feelings, and different vibrations."

ME: Lets start at the bottom half of this sentence. Feelings are vibrations, and you will always invite in to your experience a vibration that is equal to yours. There are no exceptions! Just like the Law of Gravity, "what goes up must come down" so is the Law of Attraction.
I cannot speak for victims of a tragedy like this, but it is very unlikely and improbable that all victims attracted the same tragic event, but I will touch on this a bit further on.

YOU:Surely, airplane disasters don't just happen to a planeload of people (including people of all ages, nationalities, beliefs, religions, life experiences) who attract such a thing through their beliefs and vibrations.

ME: Like you said Eric, the Law Of Attraction works on the principle that "Like Attracts Like". Most people misunderstand this. They believe that if that person was killed in a car accident that they must of been focusing or thinking of one, but this is not always the truth.
Lets take People, Physical Beings out of the equation, just for a minute and concentrate on vibrations.

A negative vibration attracts a negative vibration. You cannot have a positive vibration and attract a negative vibration. This goes against natural law. Once again there are no exceptions!

But... the negative vibration will cause you to invite in to your life, a negative experience whether you asked for that specific experience or not! It could have been a past thought or a present thought. Humans are the only living beings in the universe (the universe we have discovered so far) that live by time. The Laws of the Universe do not.

I have to say though that I disagree with Steve James comment "If everyone is not thinking, if everyone is simply going about their normal days under their own 'clouds', and not attracting," because as physical beings we are ALWAYS thinking and attracting whether it be by default or by creation.

I was watching a seminar by Esther Hicks one day when a lady approached her with an experience she had one day when driving over a bridge. Esther's answer may bring a bit of clarity and possibly another explanation to what could have happened to victims of tragic events.
I am recalling the story by memory, but the principle is the same.

The lady approached Esther Hicks and told her this:

Everyday I drive over a bridge and through the city just to get to work. This has basically been my routine for the last 10 years and could probably do it with my eyes closed and not think twice about it' but one day when driving over the same bridge I had driven over for the last 10 years something happened.
Just as I was approaching around the halfway point of the bridge, I became so overwhelmed with fear that the bridge was going to fall and that I was going to die I had to stop my car halfway across the bridge, hop out because I couldnt breathe. I have never been so overcome with this much fear of the bridge falling and me dying in my life. It just seemed that when I entered the bridge, the thought and the feeling just entered my mind without warning or even knowing why as I have passed over that same bridge for 10 years and have never ever entertained the thought.
Can you explain why this happened to me?

ESTHER: There are many reasons why this took place but lets take a look at a highly probable cause:
Its probably fair to say that the bridge you are referring to has been around for sometime and probably millions & millions of people have driven over that bridge at any given time.

You have to understand that thoughts or vibrations are energy. Everything in the universe is energy.
Energy is not a physical thing so therefore cannot be broken or destroyed.

It is possible that when you drove over the bridge, you drove through an immense cloud of energy, or thoughts or vibrations of people who have driven over that same bridge since the creation of it.
People who were fearing that the bridge was going to fall, or that they were going to die.

This is not uncommon as energy is infinite and everywhere.

ME: A little more was said but the point I was trying to get across is there. Could this maybe an answer to your question Eric.

Either way Eric, it is impossible to come up with a definite answer without knowing every thought the victims had made prior to a tragedy. There can never be one answer, after all another principle of the Law Of Attraction is "Abundance". Everything is abundant!

Dont spend too much time thinking about the answers to these type of questions though Eric, your time and energy is used much better when creating the life you want.

Hope this helps Eric,

To Your Success,

Kevin Waaka

Kevin, that's a truly amazing reply, thanks so much. I'm not sure I've fully absorbed all the points you made but enough for me to no longer let this one query in my head worry me any more! As you say, why focus on one tiny doubt when I could be getting on with more exciting things! Thanks again, Kevin. Let me know when I can return the favour lol. Eric
