In the beginning was the Word and the Word was Go(o)d. All that we speak brings all that we want to us. So, my philosophy is to speak good words that bring good things to me and be careful not to speak words that bring things I do not care to experience. Every moment is an opportunity to change my life with words that I speak. For me, this is what is meant by being made in the image and likeness of God.

Hello all...here's a response to Amy's questions regarding the Law of Attraction and how to use it. Feel free to add anything

The concept is very simple....like attracts like. Therefore, the vibration you put out into the universe is reflected in the results you see in your life. So, if your thoughts and words are negative, you will experience negative results in your life. And if your thoughts and words are positive, you will experience positive results in your life.

It's very important to learn to monitor your thoughts and words and, if you catch yourself thinking a negative thought, cancel it out by replacing it with a positive thought. So, for example, if you find yourself thinking or saying "I'm broke, I can't afford it, it's too expensive, etc.", say "cancel, cancel" and replace it with thoughts like "My life is abundant, I have all the money I need, all my bills are paid on time, etc." and get in the habit of doing this. If done repeatedly, these positive thoughts will sink into your subconscious mind and will create new neuropathways in your brain and you will begin see positive changes in your life.

Now, you can also use the Law of Attraction to focus on particular areas of your life, including your business. This is how you do that.... You will want to spend some time each day in a quiet room on your own. Sit in a chair or lay down on your bed and close your eyes and relax your entire body for a few moments. Now begin to think of a really positive experience that you've had in your life...something that made you extremely happy, excited, joyful, etc.! Now feel your positive vibrations around this memory getting stronger and stronger. Really try to put yourself back in that moment and feel the thrill that you felt around that exciting moment in your life. Once you are really feeling this, you can begin to say affirmations in your mind like "I am attracting like-minded people to my business." "I am attracting more customers to my business.", etc. and really feel the happiness and satisfaction that you will feel when this begins to happen in your business. It is all about thought + feeling= results...so you REALLY have to FEEL it!! You can then do several different affirmations for different areas of your life. Try to spend 15 or 20 minutes doing this every day and you will begin to see results after awhile. But you must do it every day because if you skip a day or two, it's like taking 1 step forward, 2 steps back!

The next step is to begin practicing visualization. While you're still in that quiet and relaxed place, begin to visualize what you want your life to look like. For example, visualize your dream home. Get really clear on what that looks like for you and visualize it in all it's detail. Then picture yourself in your dream home...the sights, the sounds, the smells...everything down to the last detail. Now really feel the joy, excitement, satisfaction, peace...whatever positive feelings this brings up for you. Try to hold this vision and feeling for as long as possible. Do this daily around different areas of your life....your dream car, your dream career, your dream body, etc.

There are a multitude of excellent books out there that explain these concepts in detail. I have many of them but the one that I would most highly recommend is a recently published book called The Answer, by John Assaraff and Murray Smith. It's an excellent book on the Law of Attraction and business and how to apply the LOA to your business. John Assaraf was on Larry King Live the other night talking about this book, so it just goes to show you how this topic is really out there in the media these days.

The other thing to do is get a copy of The Secret DVD and watch it...it is just an incredible film and will teach you how to use these principles. They also followed it up with a book of the same name. The speakers from The Secret have been featured on Larry King Live, Oprah, Ellen, etc. so it just goes to show you how big this is!!!

As far as results I've had using the Law of Attraction? After many years of trying to find my purpose in life, going from one unfulfilling job or business to another, I finally sat down and got crystal clear as to what I wanted my life to look like. I then applied the Law of Attraction to this vision.

Several months later, out of the blue, I was led to the incredible personal development company that I am currently with. It was unbelievable how everything I desired just seemingly dropped right into my lap! But the amazing thing was that, through a series of "synchronicities" that occurred, I was lead to this opportunity and had the funds to get started, etc. and it was too incredible NOT to have been the Law of Attraction at work!
