I see know one has responded to your question so I'll answer. Yes I've written and submitted articles for my blog and business. Yes you write about what you know and about your business but it's better to provide some kind of advice, tips, or simple inspiration to the reader. It should add value to their lives. There is a resource box at the end of the article for most article directories that you submit your articles.

I use the Ezinearticles.com directory most of the time but there are several other article directories online to use. I find that sticking to one service is good enough for me right now. I get good traffic from it, especially when I submit new articles.

Hi there,

I'm new to article marketing myself, but one tip someone shared with me is to ensure that you include the original article on your website for SEO purposes. Apparently, if the article is posted on your site first, then the search engines know to take that as the origin on the article, and gives more weight to it in the ranking. (If someone else has more info, please provide it).

There is a service called www.submityourarticle.com. I discovered it through a link on a friend's site. I had noticed that she had over 100 links in so I was curious how she did it. This was one resource she used.

When you are writing your articles, remember to think about the purpose of the article, the keywords people may enter into google that would cause people to come across your article- then make sure those words / phrases are in the article. You can also take a look at Google Keywords to get an idea of what people are searching for, and be sure to include appropriate words in your article.
