Introduction to NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
NLP was started by a couple of guys who thougth it could be possible to model the elite professionals in life to allow a 'model' to be applied to any person to better theirself.
Though some of it can be taken with a pinch of salt, some have said it's like a pyramid scheme with one of the creators sitting at the top - other's have become True Believers (which I am not may I add) and have taken lots from it to better their personal and professional lives.
Enough of that though, I'm just here to let you know about bits I've taken from it to help with Sales (at the least) and rapport building.
If you read all my contributions and videos added to Sta.Rtup.Biz then I'm sure you'll be able to take something from it too.

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming; it's about programming your brain (referring to the Neurons in your brain) with words (the linguistic bit).
The creators didn't intend on it being a 'sales course' or anything to do with 'motivations & team-building days' or even 'holistic therapies' that it's used for today. All that's just part of the evolution of the term, which is a TradeMark still to this day owned by one of the creators.
It's main intention was to focus the new found area of phycology and physiology combined to help better life (in my own words there) and business.
Wouldn't it be cool if we could actually make a model (they call it the Meta-Model; though there are many now that have been adapted to certain area's of life / professions) that you could adhere to to ensure that the outcome of every even (or action) in life was as 'good' as it possibly could be.
NLP states that even a business (not just a person) can adhere to a 'model' that can help itentify key area's that need to be worked on to improve the business runnings (in some way or another) and / or the staff within the business.
It's hard to get your head around fully - and I don't think it's quite that easy personally. But there has been lots discovered or pointed out to the world that the keen NLPers have helped with.
They're (the keen NLPers) after all, only trying to help.

I have been running a website hosting company for just about a year now.
I am looking to achieve more traffic to my business website and company blog.
Can anyone help me with this, since we have been having a dry month, (That means no new clients.)
We need some new clients, we are not they well known as we have hardly any profit. So we cannot spend anything on advertising.
We keep our prices low so that our clients our happy and then we recieve minimum profit.
