Hover surfing is increasingly becoming more popular. This is where you just move the mouse over a graphic, no clicking needed. Some traffic exchanges are now only hover surfing and some offer a choice between hover and click. Some people like it because they say it is faster and easier. Some people don't because it requires less attention be paid and it is too easy to move on accidentally when you want to stay on a page.

What do you think? Have you hovered? Do you like it more or less than clicking? Weigh in on this here!

Ok, I'll start, lol :)

I actually like click better. Mostly because I have a tendency to knock the mouse and so sometimes hover over when I want to stay or click on the page or bookmark it or whatever. But, hover is faster and it is nice to not have to stare at the screen to match numbers! I do hover, mostly at Hover-Traffic and Lords of Traffic. But if there is an option to click, I'll take it!

I like hover for the ease of use but I also think click is more effective. When things are too easy people get lazy and start to get soft. If they're serious enough to build their business they'll be serious enough to do whatever it takes including clicking. I mean how much easier is clicking a few buttons than actually getting out there and selling door to door? If you're not willing to do even that then maybe you don't need a business to begin with. With a business you should expect to do something and not just have it landing in your lap.

Rebecca, My girlfriend used to sell Avon literally door-to-door. In the summer and she doesn't drive, so she was just lugging everything around in the heat. Based on that, clicking is definitely easier! And I agree with you, I mean it is a free advertising method. Upgrades are not mandatory and so what you are trading is your time. Seems reasonable enough for when you have more time than money. - Rob
