Welcome Green Buzzers

Green is here to stay. So why not learn about it? This group is was created to provide information about living the "green" life. It's just plain healthier and smart.

I am convinced that there are no real green products to buy in supermarkets. These are called "green-washed" products. If you still see the DANGER signs, and the cross bones, stay away from it.

If you have a family and young kids they are especially prone to chemical exposure. Many illnesses are on the rise in kids: asthmas, allergies, cancers, respiratory problems, and there is sound evidence now that the chemicals we use in our homes are contributing to the rise. For us adults, we need to raise our awareness, be proctive, and take better care of ourselves for a healthier life. We also need to avoid chemical exposure in the home.

This group will explore resources and solutions for healthier homes, families, and the workplace - even your business.

Some rules
1. ABSOLUTELY NO SPAMMING with your biz promo. It will be deleted. If you only push your product, you don't belong here.
2. If you have a business that features natural, non toxic products you may add a link to your post. People can make up their own minds if they want to check it out. No need to push anything on anyone here.

One last try, if it doesn't work I'll go do some research.

Here's a product you might want to try. An E-cloth.

Works with water alone to clean windows, kitchens, bathrooms.

No chemicals needed. It's the design of the fabric that makes them work.

Have been using them for awhile and they do a good job.

Welcome back! Sounds exciting! I had some bad news turn into amazing good news just this week. My Acer laptop started having heat crashes and it looked like the beginning of the end for it -- so I was in a panic over not having enough savings to just get a replacement. Till I got a 72 hour sale notice from Tiger Direct and saw an Acer netbook with XP and hard drive on sale for $240 -- within my budget for my May check.

My daughter put it on her card and let me pay her back on my check, which I will in a day or two. In reading on the specs, not only was I delighted and stunned to have gotten a laptop under $250 that has a working battery (a good one, just tested this morning) but glad to find out it actually uses less power than regular laptops. Makes sense, it's a smaller machine and its technology is newer. So that's my latest little green update.

I'm typing on it right now and successfully managed to reset the keyboard to Dvorak, but still occasionally hit Caps Lock instead of Caps because I'm not used to the tiny keyboard. I'm getting better about not hitting extra keys though the longer I use it and getting back to my usual speed of typing.

I knew it was small but didn't realize quite how small till it arrived today and I wound up carrying it into the other room to show Kitten -- it's literally smaller and lighter than my novel, Raven Dance. Love it. This has also just made itself the Away Machine if I go out for anything, it's so little it'd go in my coat pocket or something.

Hey Friends,

There is a new inititive happening: KID-SAFE CHEMICAL ACT
please visit www.ewg.org to find out more and the how you can help by signing the petition.

This is an EXCELLENT resource for finding out about the chemicals in products, and the research that is being done, and the information being exposed...

My best,

Hello evrybody !!

Here I am introducing yet another new line of eco friendly item through my website www.juteslippers.com .

This is Jute Ornaments & Costume Jewellery. Have a glimpse of these items like necklace, ear rings, hair clips etc.

The products being natural have no impact on skins and the user can definitely stand out from the crowd by just wearing the passion of caring the environment within her.

Would like to have a feedback on the products from the members. The items have been displayed in www.juteslippers.com/Ornaments.htm

Regards.
