Hello everyone - I just wanted to get the ball rolling in our VA discussion. Please take a moment to share your experience so members of the group can get an idea of how you can assist them - or, perhaps there's a sub-contractor relationship in your future. ;)

My specialty is marketing support - we help you create and implement marketing plans that stay within your budget, and allow you to reach your target market. We share technologies that help keep you top-of-mind with clients, prospects and your sphere of influence.

Don't have a plan yet? No sweat, we can help you get there!

My specialties are word processing, database management and desktop publishing. Many of my clients are REALTORS, speakers, coaches and consultants.

Please share your expertise with our group...and don't be shy, feel free to ask questions, too - I'm sure there will be someone in the group who can help!

Hi Jeanine:

My niche is Tele-seminar and Interview Transcription Services which I provide to coaches, speakers and authors. If you have a tele-seminar (or know any one who does) and one of their listeners requested a transcript then I'm your VA! I also offer services in database management, spreadsheet design, word processing, data entry and data processing.

I look forward to networking with other VA's in this group. I also am willing to do subcontract work.

My main clients are business coaches and professional speakers. I look after their databases, websites, shoppingcarts, blogs, social networks and so on. A long way from my early days of simply typing letters and doing data entry. :-)

My business has evolved over the years and I really enjoy the web based stuff.

Thanks, Kathie -

I'm constantly re-inventing myself, too. I had been niched to support REALTORS for more than seven years, when the commercial real estate market slowed a bit recently, I started focusing more on my current coach/consultant and speaker clients and enjoy doing similar tasks for them.

I recently went through my supply cabinet and found my three transcribers - remember those? :) Lots of dust bunnies lost their lives that day! (LOL) :)

Because my background is transcription that's my 'bread and butter' right now but like most newcomers I do whatever I can. After 'dabbling' with copywriting and professional resumes this is where I want to take my business. I adore the written word and would love nothing better than earning my living this way.

Mine is HEALTHCARE: Electronic medical billing, collections (medical claims status, corrections, appeals), credentialing (contracting doctors and dentists with insurance companies), authorizations, eligibilities, referrals, spanish translations, practice management software database, and patient statements.

On the general side, I can do typing, sending/receiving faxes and e-mails, order taking/processing, live IM chat support.
HEEEEELP, I DON'T HAVE A PLAN YET. DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START AS VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
