Virtual Assistants

Hello everyone, I did a general search of the groups and didn't find one specific to virtual assistants. If there is one, please let me know. I'll delete this group and would love to become a member of yours. My purpose for starting this group was to have a forum for virtual assistants to share business ideas, problems and solutions with each other, and also to be a place for business owners to go and learn more about how a virtual asisstant works and how they can benefit from working with one of us.

While virtual assistance has been around for quite some time, its popularity is just starting to build. In today's economy it makes sense for business owners to utilize our services so that they can get back to the work that brings them clients and revenue, not be stuck behind the desk doing paperwork or getting marketing materials together. They cannot afford to be missing out on revenue generating opportunities. They also cannot afford to be sending out materials with spelling and grammar errors. There is a multitude of services that Virtual Assistants offer and I hope that everyone will post the services they provide, among other helpful information for the business community.

Comment by Jeannine Clontz on December 30, 2008 at 12:19pm: I think that's exactly why I'm a Conference junkie - it's about meeting everyone and putting a face (even though we have photos) and voice to the person.

Although I always pick up a tip or trick at every conference I attend, the true value for me is the people connections, and I especially like IVAA's dinner with strangers - lots of fun. ;)

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
