Hi everyone,

I am very curious, is it REALLY possible to make money online? Particularly, is it possible to make money online with NO INITIAL financial investment?

I think this is a valid question, especially in today's economy. People are either losing their jobs or have already lost their job, with little or no savings, and having a hard time finding jobs to pay the bills. Is it possible to make money online, and if so, is it possible to do so without any financial investment?

This question may have already been asked and answered in The World Needs More Happy already, and if so, I do apologize (please direct me to the answer(s) if this is the case). If not, I'd really like to know if it is possible to make money online, and if so, if it can be done with NO financial investment whatsoever.

(Actually, the question I'd really like to ask is is it possible to make let's say $1000 online within let's say 30 days with NO financial investment whatsoever?)

I guess the real question I'm trying to ask is "Can anyone make money online with a tremendous amount of work instead of investing large amounts of money?"

In this economy I wouldn't expect anyone to have $100 or so to invest in an online income opportunity. However, I do think it is possible to make money online, if one is willing to work at it like they do a job. That is where the question of "Can anyone make money online with a tremendous amount of work instead of investing large amounts of money?" comes into play.

The real question that I wanted to ask is is it possible to work online and make a living at it, ie, a "job" (for lack of a better term/word) online but where the "salary" increases as the time, effort (and as income is made), money invested increases.

I acknowledge that at some point, no doubt, money will need to be invested in any venture, whether online or offline, but for purposes of making money online, is it possible to make money online with NO INITIAL financial investment?

In other words, can whatever venture online provide the financial investment needed to make it a (huge) success? Is it possible to make money online, if one is willing to work at it like they do a job, which is to say "is it possible to work online and make a living at it, ie, a "job" (for lack of a better term/word) online but where the "salary" increases as the time, effort (and as income is made), money invested increases"? Can anyone make money online with a tremendous amount of work instead of investing large amounts of money (initially)? Thank you.

God bless..

Nice to meet you Miss J! Just becoming acquainted with the groups and forums. I wouldn't normally comment right out the gate but I just couldn't resist...as I've been wondering the same thing as well. With this economy, people need a way to supplement their income without having the disposable income needed to cover the start-up costs of a new business. Well, I recently came across an opportunity that's free with no investment. It sounds to good to be true but as I dug deeper I realized the concept is really more common then I ever knew. If you really want an answer to your question...test it out(it's free) and see what happens in 30 days! Look forward to speaking with you again!!

Have a blessed day!

Hi there,
Yes it is possible to make money on line. It does take time and some work and networking to get things to come together
I have been using the affiliate marketing model [explained at http://www.AffiliateMarketingIntro.com ] for a few years now

Initially things were slow, I only do this part time. But in the last couple of years things have come together really well

I did it to have an alternate source of income in case of job loss.

Still doing it part time cause I do enjoy my 'day job'

But the potential is amazing

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your contribution. I feel I need to clarify something with the question I put forth. I left out (inadvertently) one crucial word in the question. The question should actually read: is it possible to make money online with NO INITIAL financial investment?

Yeah. You can do the affiliate marketing thing from a free blogging platform like blogger. Just remember to back up the content you generate so that when you make a few commissions, you can move your content to your own self hosted website

Affiliate marketing is effort intensive but can be done without spending a cent

There are a lot of free sites and blogs e.g problogger.com, niche-traffic-sale.blogspot.com and shoemoney.com that will teach you the basics free

Thanks Niche and Chantal,

I have been aware of affiliate marketing for some time now. I am also aware of "get-paid-to" (gpt) which would seem to be another way to make money online with no INITIAL financial investment. The difference in terms of income as far as I can see is that to make something substantive with gpt you'd have to have a large downline so that you're making a percentage of what they're making as well. The thing I like about affiliate marketing is that as mentioned, it can be done with little to no INITIAL financial investment and can still allow you to make something substantive. As a result, you can take the income made from your affiliate marketing efforts and invest it into more affiliate marketing income streams, or other online income opportunities. One downfall I find with affiliate marketing, beside affiliate theft (that may not be the term but what this is is that if aff. mktg is not done right - ie cloaking the landing page, or using a domain of your own, etc you could lose out), it's not residual (meaning recurring, unless it's for something like a membership site). Anways, that's just my 2 cents. Affiliate marketing is one way to go if you're serious about making money online with little or no INITIAL financial investment.

God bless...

Hello Everyone,

This is Lea Charlton from Pittsburgh, PA.

Yes, MJ, affiliate marketing is an option; especially when you are working with companies that pay cash daily or directly to you opposed to every 30 days. Niche products and niche private labels are good, too.

It is very possible to make money online and $1000 within 30 days (no investment), though there are some factors to take into consideration first.

1) Does the person know how to market and just need a good program or two that can produce within those parameters? Or is the person completely new to the arena and need to learn first?

2) Is the person open to learning or implementing quickly - doing their part to make it work?

In my experience, many say they want to make money, though they often have parameters of what is acceptable or not to them. * Please keep in mind that I am not talking about anything that is not ethical, legit or family friendly. I am referring to how people sometimes stand in their own way instead of accomplishing goals. There are people that say they will not work with a network marketing company - or - they can not sell products - or - they are afraid to talk to prospects.

#2 is relative to #3 ...

3) Does the person have any personality, skill or physical limitations?

I have a friend that has a condition where she cannot sit for long periods of times and needs to rest her eyes periodically throughout the day, marketing online was bringing her pain and straining her eyes to the point that she had to stop.

I believe that anyone can do anything they set their minds on, but I am not sure that anyone can confidently assure that person they will make $1000 in 30 days unless they are willing to do some of the work to help someone that cannot do all themselves.

So, yes, it is possible to make $1000 in 30 days depending on the person, system or program.

Ideas:

- Affiliate Marketing
- Consulting / Coaching
- Network Marketing
- Lead Generation
- Selling Articles / SEO Copy
- Virtual Assistant
- Website Design / SEO
- Training

There are just so many options.

Sincerely,

Lea Charlton

I agree with Lea and just to piggyback off what she stated, if you are looking for opportunities like that then you'd have to put in some work to make it happen and keep it going until you reach an income level where you can get others to do the work for you. Some good idea starters like Lea stated:
- Affiliate Marketing
- Consulting / Coaching
- Network Marketing
- Lead Generation
- Selling Articles / SEO Copy
- Virtual Assistant
- Website Design / SEO
- Training ETC.....

But if you are looking for an opportunity where you do absolutely nothing & make $1000 in 30 days, those may hard to come by. You'd still have to put in some work to find the programs and keep them going. You'd never know what you'd find once you put in some research and work towards your goals.

We believe it is possible to make money online, but a person has to look at every facet of an opportunity and all the key elements must be met....

It all boils down to the management and the heart of the people behind an opportunity....are they in business to make themselves rich, or are they in business to help people like us make a living? It takes time learning what their motives are, but it's worth doing your due diligence. Another option is for a person to ask someone they trust that they know that have taken the time in doing the research...all in all, it's worth spending the time learning as much as you can....

Yes. While I was ramping up my recruiting business. I worked for Google as a Quality Rater (15/hr), screened resumes for an IT company, rated student exit exams through Pearson Testing and Educational Testing Services. These are all contract w-4 "jobs", with no upfront requirements. People with degrees in specific, need to realize there are many online jobs out there that are not business opportunities. If you have a masters degree you can make a nice living as an online instructor as well.

Here is a better link for some blogs written on this subject...http://sta.rtup.biz/profiles/blog/list?user=1qivaw57qwrhb. These short articles were created to help get people thinking about some considerations to make that many of us don't think about until it's too late when whatever company that we got involved with doesn't pan out the way we thought it would. It's wise to be aware of different companies and the different criteria in the online area...something that we've looked into quite heavily.

My first thought is this, if a person is not willing to "invest" in a business -whatever it may be - then they are not likly to "invest" time either. In 10 yrs online and in marketing I wish I had a dime for every person who gets in with a company and then 3-6 months down the road, blames the company that they are not making thousands. Tools are given, but they don't pick them up and use them. Very sad, but lessons are learned every day - are they not?

I also have to say that either way invest or not - it does take " a tremendous amount of work". Why should it come easy? Those willing to put in the time are the ones who are going to find success.

Blessing to you all!
