Hey All!!!

I am excited to join this network as I am 25 and an entrepreneur. For all of you that are in the "grind" right now, I can definitely appreciate and understand what you're going through. Being a part of a company from the beginning stages can be very challenging but also can be very rewarding. Fortunately for me, this isn't the first time I've been part of a company at the beginning stages. With this experience comes the preparation of being able to go through the mental, emotional and financial strains that often plague a new company.

Our current business, Driscoll Investments (www.dihedge.com) was initially a boutique advisory company that originally focused on M&A Advisory for middle market private and public companies, which I currently head up. Recently, given the unique dynamics of the market, we've decided to add a new business unit focused in Private Equity. With this new business unit came a whole slew of challenges and expenses. I am happy to say that we are in the final stages of completing the structuring of this business unit, and are entering into our capital raise for our first Private Equity Fund focused on leveraged buy-outs.

We'll see where we go from here, but overall-it's exciting to be a part of something and see it grow from 2 guys in a small office to a company with an advisory board, 4 main Partners, and international connnections. Needless to say, we're in a very exciting time with our business and are in the middle of trying to scale up.

As always, the desitination is just as important as way you get there!
