Lavanda Michelle Coats developed her passion for planning parties when she planned her “Sweet Sixteen” birthday party over 14 years ago, in Chicago, Illinois. The conception of Elite Events

When I was 13 I saw this quote "Choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life! - Confucius," and it changed my life. A week later I went to work with my sister and saw the most beautiful wedding. I was on a mission I used everything I could find to plan a wedding for Ken & Barbie. I got in trouble for taking the best flowers from my mom vast; nothing was to good my client. That’s when my crush with event coordination started. I asked him out at 16 and it was the sweetest date ever. Event planning is my first love! Our courtship lasted seventeen great years and we just got married (for better or worst). We’re expecting our first child Elite Events.
