In many cases, Men just never take the time to show appreciation
Women up fixing our breakfast and rushing to fix dinner in the evening
Some men take it for granted as if it were your sworn duty or obligation
All the while, you are doing what you can to please without saying a thing
It is so hard working eight hours a day and coming home to even more
Without your strength more of our children would be in jails or deceased
Great American Women you have what it takes of that you can be sure
Stepping up when many positive opportunities for your men has decreased
Women, there are American Men who appreciate the sacrifices you make
Knowing without Great American women, we would be, all but destroyed
With demanding jobs, you find time for our children and to cook and bake
Now with the Iraq War, it is worse with many Good Men being deployed
Hold on my Great American Sisters you can be sure, help is on the way
Men are quickly realizing that this death and destruction is no accident
They are realizing it will take teamwork to save our young people today
Before long, the majority of our American Men will start to represent
Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Teacher, Doctors, Nurses, Women do it all
You drive, catch the bus, cabs, and get hacks to get our children to schools
Ambulance Drivers, Lawyers, Principals, Preachers, you answer every call
Whoever would think American Women are weaklings, have to be real fools
Fight is not over American Women but thanks to your strength, we will win
Whatever you do, do not give up on yourselves and do not give up on Men
American Men and Women working together, our children we can defend
In one another, it is time to rebuild Love, Respect, Unity, Support and Trust
Women, those Men who do understand are working hard on those who do not
You are proving to America everyday that to your Nation you are loyal and true
Thanks to you, many of our children are getting an education and not being shot
For your efforts GREAT & BEAUTIFUL “American Women…We Thank You”
