How God changed me! About my epiphany change at an early age!
In my early thirties I was a person that, when I felt just a little bad, (for almost any reason), I would stay home from work. I tell you this so you may understand how the story I am about to tell you changed my life forever!
The best story I can tell you about me is: I took my oldest boy to a Special Olympic event, while their, my life was changer forever! This young black lady about 5 foot4 inches Tall and about 95 lbs. was fixing to run the 50yard dash; she walked on her tip toes and ran the same way. When the starter pistol fired, she started to run, after taking 3 or 4 steps, she fell down like a ton of bricks! She did not put out her hands to brake her fall! (The track was a cinder track) she got up and started to run again, after a few more steps, she fell without putting out her hands; the same thing happened. After the third time with her face cut by the track; everyone tried to get her to stop! She would not quit, falling ever few feet she finished the race, last! She got the loudest applause that I ever heard!
The lesson I learned was that, no matter how bad I felt, I felt Great!! You see, even if I got out of bed feeling real bat I new one thing, I still felt great; as I was getting ready for work, (shaving and looking at myself in the mirror) I would say out loud, “I feel good, I feel great” over and over and by the time I had to leave for work I was feeling Great! Since then I feel great all the time and when you meet me; you will see me smiling because I love life and YOU!
I have been blessed by having three children with special needs; that has given me a humble attitude and a unique outlook on life!
