Allen has performed his special brand of humor at Zanies in Chicago, Barrel of Laughs, Jokes & Notes, Comedy Central's "Comic Justice", The Comedy Cafe in Milwaukee, and the Apollo Theatre in New York. Allen has also opened for Aretha Franklin, Pattie La Belle, Smokey Robinson, The O'Jays and The Soul Children of Chicago.
Mr. Edge has also worked with The Goodman Theatre, First Stage Children's Theatre,Steppenwolf Theatre,Victory Gardens Theatre, Portland Stage Company,and The Black Ensemble Theatre. Allen was also featured in Barber Shop 2 and Tyler Perry's "Meet The Browns".
Allen has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. He is also the founder and president of Transitions Edge Productions, Inc., a production company dedicated to the effective communication of Christ Jesus through the performing arts.
