Mark! I had a great weekend, I will be getting a disk of the photos that were taken for my memories. Friday, I went to the airport, tour downtown including the underground, it was cold. Saturday, touring Chinatown, Lindsay ON, Port Union beach, Bluffers Park, the beach at Woodbine, St Lawrence Market, hotel, shopping. Sunday, Burlington, Niagara Falls (Journey behind the falls and Niagara Fury), lunch at the Keg overlooking the falls, Niagara on the Lake, Mississauga and back to the airport, before coming home to collapse. I would say I had a great weekend.

What was or will your weekend be like?

Hi Mark and thank-you for your note. Here are some thoughts in response to your question, " If you had more people looking at your doll website every single day..how would that affect your ability to get more dolls to more places around the world ?"
I would say that it could potentially increase the chances of getting the doll into more places around the world for sure.
I originally created the Magnolia Doll to fill a need in the International Adoption Community for a soft Doll that would be suitable for children of all ages including infants. A great number of the families who adopt are on internet groups with other families who adopt from the same country/province, city, etc. Therefore, the Doll has traveled around the world to most of the United States, England,France, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Spain, Germany, Singapore, China, Costa Rica, Colombia, etc. as well as all the provinces in Canada.
But that is not to say that a huge number of dolls has gone to each of these places. The majority of the orders come from the US.
However, because a great percentage of the exposure for my site is within the Adoptive Community, there are many people who do not know about the doll. We donate dolls frequently to Fundraisers that are benefitting needy children and we also send many dolls to orphanages that have no toys for the children to play with, etc. It is my dream that others might pick up on my vision as well and purchase the dolls to give to needy children. If everyone who visited the site bought one doll to give away that would go a long way in my dream of "putting a smile on the face of every child in the world."
