Hi All,
Brad West form Las Vegas here. I could do an intro about myself but I'm real board with that, I have about me posted in tons of places already, I'm sure that for those who care it wouldn't be too hard to find out more about me, and there is always Google. Just thought I would pick a subject that is a common annoyance in everyone's life. After all using redundant content follows the redundancy of the social communities themselves.
So what about Spam, I bet everyone knows what spam is, if you didn't ask for it and it is asking you for something it is most likely spam, If I'm on a list and I get propositioned that is fine it is also my choice. Like many already when ever that happens if at all possible I will approach the situation somewhat rationally. Then you get blocked, LOL
The people that hate Spam the worst are the Spammers themselves. The most common reason for spamming when approached is "I was only thinking of you, or it is really for your own good".
OK, well I'm not sure, but being approached by a complete stranger that I'm sure doesn't know me or who I am, read my profile, or for that matter Googled me. But they have nothing but my best interest in mind. That could be a bit of a stretch to say the least, not sure why, but it is, It may have happened more than once
That leads me to what is working for me at this point. It's very simple really reading, getting to know people for who the really are, learning from and share with them. I'm not saying don't pay attention to our business. But since I stopped pulling, pushing, and shoving what I do on people, and learning what true marketing is, things are great. I have never done better since I have stopped acting and showing desperation, I learned to separate networking and business. Networking is great to build a relationship, business is built on relationships. It is just normal to ask each other what you do if you have built a good relationship with them.
When you know someone by what they do and not who they are that is not a relationship. When The first thing I see is a link in a half-assed hello, the first thing I think of is WOW this person is thinking of me/?#

Since you are experienced in the marketing field, do you have any idea how I can send flyers through the internet in order to reach both client and agent prospects? If so, please send me a message and I would be happy to hear from you.
Thanks!

thanks for the comments. Yes there is a governing body to the coaching profession, ICF ( International Coaching Federation) THey set the standards for excellence. I personally did go to school iPEC to become certified. This required over 400 hours of study time, plus oral and written exams. You are correct stating there are many people saying they are "coaches" and it does bother those of us who have credentials. I believe anyone with the passion can coach, BUT having the knowledge , tools and experience does make a difference. Life coaches are similiar to sports coach, their goal is to bring out the best in a client. I strive to see my clients go from just living life, to living the life they dream of, then passing that point into more. I still conitue to study, take classes and also have my own coach to keep me moving, growing and learning. So i know first hand how much of an influence a coach has. I'm excited to read what you have written, do keep me updated.
and don't forget if you would like a GREAT coach I am here ...
Enjoy the Journey !
